Games moved

Post by Basil is a Gooner »

We have today received confirmation from the Premier League that the following games involving Arsenal have been rescheduled as a result of TV selections:

Liverpool v Arsenal
Saturday 3rd March 2012
Kick off: 12.45pm (originally 3.00pm)
Live on: SKY SPORTS

Arsenal v Newcastle United
Monday 12th March 2012 (originally Saturday 10th March 2012)
Kick off: 8.00pm
Live on: SKY SPORTS

The ‘standard’ TV selections have now been made up to the end of March 2012. Ordinarily, fixtures up to this date will not now change. However, as ever, all fixtures remain subject to change and circumstances may yet arise which result in further fixture changes.

Great - Monday night again! :banghead:

With yesterdays substitutions and fan reaction Sky obviously want to be able to show the melt down first hand if it happens

I couldn't make the Newcastle game, but now I can that its on Monday :barscarf:......

Aside my own selfishness for this one fixture, on the whole I think ALL league and FA Cup matches should be 3 o clock on a Saturday

I actually think that after the 3rd Round weekend all FA Cup games should take place midweek to create more interest in it

Or in other words "right lads, they've finished fucking about with the fixtures for a while, those of you who actually attend games should be free to spend fuck loads on travel and accommodation now. Mind, having said that its the PL and so theres every chance we'll move another game or two anyway, if they offer us another bit money for a live fixture then we'll snap their hands off for it. And if we do this and you find out that you've lost out financially having booked the aforementioned travel and accommodation you can go fuck yourself. PS New Thierry Henry 12 teddy bear in store now, only £45.99, order now motherfucker"

All FA Cup games should be 3pm on a Saturday. What made it great, and we had some excellent away days out....

With plenty of banter, banners et all at various service stations around the UK in the 90's :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Once again the Tv companies just piss all over the fans that go to games and just expect them to travel. The Barcodes have to make that journey on a monday night. Properly f@#cked off with it.
