Kroenke "the philanthropist" is at it again!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Kroenke "the philanthropist" is at it again!

Kroenke is bidding for the LA Dodgers now which probably means he moves the St Louis Rams back to L.A.

The man has had more clubs than Peter Crouch and Nick Faldo combined! It shows you he is not interested in winning he is just interested in the money. It shows he is willing to splash the cash but not on our squad.

Time to not only shout for Wengers head but the boards too!

And he has the rams committed to playing 1 nfl games in each of the next 3 seasons in an effort to broaden their fanbase  It is well known that there is to be an nfl franchise in LA in the coming years and the rams were one of the 3 teams (along with jacksonville and oakland I think) mooted as possible movers due to a lack of fans in their current home and while I love most things nfl, I have to say that moving a whole organisation like that doesnt seem right to me (I know that is ironic seeing as we hailed from south london  ) and emphasises that for kroenke it is all about the $$$$

The Rams and Raiders have both spent time in LA but moved away due to little interest yet might go back? Seems strange augie

did anyone think kroenke, an american investor, bought the most profitable club in england because he happens to love The Arsenal?

and if anyone thinks he cares about titles instead of filling his pockets with more cash, then you need to be alone with jayson in a dark room for a week

I'm pretty sure it's kroenke's buddy that's developing the new stadium for whoever moves to LA so it probably will be the rams. Fuck him if he actually moves them to LA though. Since he is from Missouri I kind of doubt that he would want to do that to all the rams fans but he is actually probably a KC chiefs fan that doesn't give a fuck either way.

It's a bit sad because the Rams were crap last year, so funnily enough, their attendance dropped. Strange that...

Also a rumour circulating that the Rams could be the first London-based NFL franchise (Based at the Emirates???)

Yep he's got the Rams here for three games in the next three seasons but I hear he is just trying to use leverage to get the team to move to L.A. He cannot stay in St Louis if he takes over the LA Dodgers as the rules state you cannot own a club in the two different areas. That's why the Denver Nuggets NBA team is owned (in name only) by his son and hence why he wants to move to L.A with the rams. He is in the real estate business so stadium building is his thing. Emirates might be the next one he moves away from. Barnet Gunners anyone?

No foreign billionaire club owner owns a football club for passion. It's either a business venture (all american owners), or boredom/prestige (Roman), or vanity (Citeh).

A few NFL teams have been trying to move to LA for a while, I think Jacksonville are the other strong possibility. Though playing half games on the West Coast and London would not make much sense.

He cannot be worse than Frank McCourt for the Dodgers or the former Liverpool owner, Tom Hicks was for the Rangers.

I have said this from day one. Kronke is very bad for Arsenal and what I dont understand is how Wenger put up with it all.
Usmanov said he would invest big money on players but was told his money was not wanted.
Somehow we have landed somebody who cares nothing about the club and winning trophies.
In 2004 I remember Dein and Wenger stating we were heading to become one of the biggest clubs is Europe. WHAT THE F..K HAPPENED ?
