FAO Harlow Gooner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just read it.

Wow, that is an amazing piece. You deserve a pint for that mate

I wish I was old enough to have experienced times like those, don't think we'll ever see a time like that again

Puts it into hindsight about Wenger, maybe his time isn't up? :? Now look what you've done to me

Haha. that'll be a different Harlow Gooner I'm afraid guys, not this one. sorry to disappoint.
we are in fact 3 mates that share this username/log in. not one of us is even near 50 years of age. I personally don't even have any ties to Harlow !
I do hail from Islington originally, and have supported The Arsenal for over 30 years. I'm too young to remember the 71 double. I was born a few months after it. My earliest memories are the 78 and 79 FA cup finals.
Massive respect to the other Harlow Gooner though.

Great piece. Being 27 I've not got a smatter on how long I've been a Gooner, but win or lose we've all got great memories to pass on, and that's what makes supporting the Arsenal great :barscarf:

Great piece. Kinda glad the 1977 season was omitted as that was properly dark. I remember some woeful scrape of a draw that year v Boro? Leicester? Brian Kidd scored, Jimmy Rimmer (stop it Jayson) saved us from losing.
!6,000 crowd and we were fighting each other in the North Bank out of boredom...

PS - Jon Sammels my first Arsenal hero
