for me:
denilson sell or release
diaby sell or release
walcott play him as a striker or sell (Gerv, Ryo, chambo should play wings)
bendtner sell
almunia or vito sell or release one of them
chamackh sell or release
sqilachi sell or release
i think the problem is the wage structure - those shit players you mentioned are mostly receiving 50k+ a week, who else in their right state of mind would pay such a high ammount to those wankers? and for some strange reason, we don't do that thing of completing the difference in wages ourselves until the end of their contracts with us to facilitate the transfers, meaning we're stuck with them until their contracts are over - no player wants their wages reduced, even if it means more first team chances.
funny, as that is financial suicide - we waste a spot in the squad to a player the manager himself does not trust, and we lose the opportunity of having some of the money invested in the player coming back, even if just a part of it. and for a manager who hates to "kill the progress of the youngsters"

keeping fuckers like arshavin is what's actually slowing the progress of oxlade, ryo, etc. i'd rather have afobe playing for the first team than chamakh, at least he
may grow up to become a good striker!
but hey, at least we can have denilson back for next season
