London Olympics 2012 Accommodation

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

London Olympics 2012 Accommodation

Post by rodders999 »

Right folks, me and the missus are going to be in London for a few days (Sunday 5th to Friday 10 August) to see a bit of Olympic action. Bouncing breasts at the beach volleyball, tight arsed swimmers etc. etc.

Now the point of this thread is that she is giving me more of a fucking ulcer than an Arsene Wenger substitution about booking accommodation. :banghead: The prices for everywhere we've looked are beyond extortionate (250 quid a night!!).

Can anyone recommend a hotel/B&B/apartment that would be conveniently located, is not a shit hole and will not cost a month’s wages?

And no I’m not interested in shacking up in that sex dungeon Rebel swears by!

Cheers in advance for the help, if someone can aid my cause and stop her indoors nagging the shite out of me and point me in the right direction, I’ll turn this thread into a tit fest. :-P

try airbnb.com, never had a problem and you can usually get decent flats on a budget (not sure what the availailibility is like though)

Rodders you might want to stay 20-30 miles outside of London and commute in each day. Two Good places with direct train lines in Essex are Harlow and Chelmsford, 30 mins on a train and youre in London. Check out the train costs and Premier Inn or travel lodge rates and it might work better than staying inside London.

Just an idea :?

Cheers all.

Apparently while after a skin-full last Sunday when I drank myself into oblivion after the manc defeat I agreed to have it all sorted by today, which she took great pleasure reminding me of before I posted the thread

Fucking drunk talk :banghead:
