Goetze saga

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Keep the faith augie. There's still 13 hours left. I'm agnostic. :)

Hey i am vindicated...the club were looking at Goetze saw a better prospect and took the gamble....

In many respects i was right....my source correctly signalled out a midfielder, young and from Dortmund, MY theory was Goetze but instead it was Eisfeld....i reckon you should give me a little credit
Fixed that for you

But i stand by my deal with Tomas....i will honour that.
Hey Sammy,
No worries mate...just drop me a mail and we will figure something out.
Maybe early next season one of the first games, would be great to go over, watch a game (maybe the BVB midfielder will play  ), meet some of you guys and have a couple of pints.

I've to say this entire story really went to my nerves and I would be more relieved if Götze and some of the other young players would sign a new contract with BVB, because most of the contracts are running out in 2014.

A good sign is that the coach Jürgen Klopp and Manager Michael Zorc have extended their contracts toward 2016.

So...just drop me mail and we will see :barscarf:

Best wishes from very cold Germany,
Thomas

P.S.: It is a shame that this thread did not make the 50th pages :-P or maybe if you keep him open
