Wenger - Koscielny is one of league’s best

Dear arse I do love it when u tell me off ,are u a schoolteacher ?

I have no great opinion of those three I mentioned but face it king is a crippled alchy not to mention one of them, Vidic WAS a great player but is an injury prone crock now and Kompany is OK il grant you but plays in a good team .

I wouldn't swap Kos for any of them !

I'm Sick to death of everyone running all our players down and looking at the grass on the other side which invariably is always greener !

We may have more dross than gloss but Kos is boss !

Thank fuck for that because the other three are pony !

Once again Babatunde rubbish dressed up as knowledge and wisdom .

Kos was pilloried by the vast majority of the wenger haters on here last year but has been excellent all year for us.

Was awesome yesterday ,Praise where praise is due .

The wenger haters on here who are blind to everything except their own obsessive hatred of him however cannot accept a simple statement from Wenger who after all is trying to boost his players confidence like any good manager.

No every syllable has to be turned twisted and used in evidence against him.

Very sad really !
If you believe those 3 are pony Herd, then you are also blind, stupid or a bit of both   or hold just as entrenched a position as those you criticise.

On the plus side, Koscielny is playing very well at the moment. I would still like to see some the proof of when it's really needed, when a big game is on the line, that he can be part of an Arsenal team that doesn't lose it completely. Good work from him yesterday. :barscarf:

I'm not your mate, I doubt if you have any, moreover you avoid the point , do tell me that Vidic and King aren't over the hill and are better than Kos !

So someone names 3 better defenders and that suddenly means Kos is rubbish? Or that he's 'not one of the best'. The fact is you look about and probably is up there with the best in the league at the moment. Vidic is crocked, King rarely plays. Kompany yes, outstanding, but apart from that, who else is there?

spot on.

i keep my stance, kos is a great centreback, and even though our squad is SHIT, we have two great centrebacks.

Koscielny a 'great' centre back ha ha ha ha ha ha, the man who sat haplessly as ManUre scored EIGHT and as Blackburn banged in 4, the man who sat by idly and didn't know what to do when Swansea turned it on, the 'great' centreback who does not get in the France team ahead of Younes Kaboul. The great centre-back who has been an ever present in an Arsenal team with one of the most shambolic defences away from home.

No wonder so many Arsenal fans are said to be deluded. It's hilarious really. Koscielny has done absolutely NOTHING of note to be declared a great player. You quite simply, cannot call anyone part of a defence as shambolic as Arsenal's a 'great' defender that is a joke. In that case, perhaps we can call Samba of Blackburn a 'great' defender eh? I don't recall him shipPing 8 at OT?

Like I said. I used to remember having the same discussion with many Arsenal fans about Clichy being a 'great' left back, about Flamini being a 'great' DCM and about Almunia being good enough for England. It's a complete joke that if an Arsenal player looks competent for about three months, he can be called 'great'.

I repeat, Koscielny is part of a shocking Arsenal team that cannot defend. He is hence, part of the problem. I couldn't think of a single neutral that would have Koscielny in their Premiership 11.

Round here though, he is 'great'
