"WHY WE HAVE TO BE INCESSANT" BY USMARTIN

I am sitting here behind this computer, having just seen the club lose again.
There is no use ciriticising Mr Wenger or the players, oh no, not on your nelly.
I am going to urge you to support them.
What I want you to do is criticize the board.
Loathe them.
Hate them.
Direct all your inner anger towards them.
They, and their hair-brained Highbury Redevelopment has cost this club the opportunity to go forward in the right way.
It has meant we have little option left but to petition Mr Hill-Wood (whom I suspect is actually QuartzGooner in disguise) and his cronies, to hand over the club to me, as I can run it much better.
I sit here behind this computer in Connecticut, and everythign is far from copasetic. It is ,to quote oru great folklorist, Woody Guthrie, a "Bum rap". Which is also what Lil Wayne produces.
Moving on forward in the rgith way I can ceaclessly see the need for such ambtion to be dofjgh sjfjkf djff and to be hinest with you G88ner is cyclically twisted in hsi argumentative mindset........

Stateside Gooner: We have to be supportive

By Chris Toronyi

It's not easy being an Arsenal supporter. It provides its fair share of pain and much joy. Of course we want the Club to win every game, every player to place pinpoint passes, make every shot and every decision to be spot on.

If that were the case the game would be boring. It would lack drama. It would lack losing, lack pain. Lack everything there is about sport.

Sunday was no different. All the things I mentioned occurred, BUT they happen in every game. The reason a team loses is because of numerous slight, unforeseen miscalculations made by the other team. For instance, look at my New York Giants football game yesterday against the San Francisco 49ers. Numerous plays lead to the Giants win. Not just one. Freaky things happen in sport. They just do. I'm very happy because of it for the Giants and not so because of it for Arsenal.

Yes, our game yesterday included many opportunities for us to win (or tie). We were unable to do so. We had 10 players out injured. We had players playing out of position. We had players who looked a bit tired. Look at all the factors. It wasn't the perfect formula for a result, but we showed heart, we showed class. We fought.

Look, I'm not going to sit here and blog about what we should have done differently. There is a reason I'm sitting behind this computer. I support the Club regardless of the outcome. I'm a supporter through and through.

Yes, I may question decisions, but what good does that really do when it comes to the on-field strategy. It may make me feel better and I guess it could be a form of therapy for you or me. But you see, I like to be positive. Supportive. That's what our team needs right now. Man, I really hate "hate."

We all want the same, right? We want the Club to win, we want trophies in our cabinet. It'll come. Just be supportive.

Two issues for me here:

1) The club again favouring and highlighting an overseas fan's views. We are a London club, I'd rather hear opinions of those who actually attend matches or at least live in the UK&I , even if they only select pro-club opinions.

2) Do these foreign 'fans' with their limited knowledge of the game realise how stupid they sound to the real supporters? I quite enjoy the NFL but wouldn't dream of offering my opinions on it to genuine fans in the USA as I know I'd sound like a total muppet!

This does wind me up too. We're forever having the opinions of some Japanese, American, Malaysian "Gooners" shoved in our faces on pravda or seeing features about overseas supporters clubs making a "once in a lifetime" trip to the Wengerdome.

How about the guy who runs a pub on the Blackstock road who's been following us for 40+ years? Or someone from Finsbury Park who plows 75% of their wages back into following Arsenal?

Well, I've been running the Arsenal Brasil twitter for some time now and you get in contact with lots of these supporters' groups. And from the top of my mind I can't think of any other group that calls for Wenger's head but ours.

Despite all of them liking the club and all, a handful actually tries to know what's going on instead of just reading the arsenal.com news. So there's a good reason why they'll keep posting these opinions, they are far more optimistic then the average london gooner right now and that's all that PR think of look how open to anyone around the world we are.

I like that it gets increasingly illegible as he goes on... and on... and on

Frighteningly realistic, Quartz - and a good reminder why I'm pleased he was banned!

and even arsenal brasil that has some nutcases like you and me, if you pick five random members i'd guess there's a good chance none of them will know who alan smith is or what happened in the 1990/1991 season. if you ask me anything about the arsenal before 2000 i'll have to answer based on what i've heard from people in here, or the season reviews i've watched, books i've read, etc. we simply did not live those moments because they were not available to us. we cannot comment on graham's time, we're based on history told by others and media content, we didn't fucking live it. watching the 1989 final match while smoking a joint and drinking a beer at home may be loads of fun (i can tell, i did that countless times  ), but it's not the same as having felt that in those days.

i'm from other continent myself and i must admit, taking foreign supporters into consideration for opinions like that is a shit idea. it's the reason i like to come here to listen to the opinions of guys who are season ticket holders for decades (even though i have to stand blokes like babatunde in the process  ) and haven't logged on the arsenal brasil forum for probably over half a year. i learned absolutely nothing there.

I was totally including Arsenal Brasil in the second paragraph, It's true, we, overseas supporters, don't get the vibe and the day after of each important loss or win, our say can't have the same weight as a bloke from London that has been living the club for all his life.

A couple of gems from pravda's as yet unfinished match report;
This was a decent performance and, given Bolton’s form, a decent point.
 Bolton's form?! Weren't they in the relegation zone before tonight?!
the race for fourth place is now hotting up.
It is, shame we won't be involved!
