BOLTON AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

:asleep_at_work: What a fucking shite game. Two mid table sides. One clearly better than the other but both defences shakey and finishing poor.

We are so average it's unbelievable.

Basically a typical current Arsenal half. Had some possession early on, wasted all our chances, the other team look like they could nip up the other end at any time and score. If you didn't know which team was which, you'd be hard-pushed to tell which team was supposed to be challenging for the title.

It's not that I mind so much that we are so shite, but for a long time, there has been a passion and spirit missing that in previous years would have carried us through these banana-skin fixtures. That is something that doesn't even cost money.

Double-post so I'll reply to Steve O 35 about Walcott. ^^^

Fair point, but
1) Just because he is better in the middle than the wing doesn't mean he's that good in the middle.
2) Current fan favourite the Ox hit it wide from a great position, and nobody will say anything about it.

Dear god...

This is probably one of the most boring football game I've ever seen....

Step forward the usual dross: Walcott, Ramsey, Song...

I don't know how many times I will need to say this before someone actually agrees with me but...

RAMSEY IS SO SHIT I ACTUALLY MISS DENILSON!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

You say that mate but Ramsey against Villa in the second half was different class, as were most of our players.

They've got it in them to play a superb game of football, but it's a question of motivation. There's nobody in the dressing room to gee the team up, Wenger included.

I don't want to agree but I'm starting to think he's shit and not up to the standard. Pre injury he was scoring etc, now he just looks average. Rosicky needs to come on for him at HT and get Theo off for Henry.

OX is best attacking player again. RVP looks dead!

This is a game crying out for the creative spark that Abou can provide :(

I really don't know about that. I don't think a superb game once every ten matches is simply a question of motivation. I think it's far simpler than that - we have lots of painfully average players, and have done ever since moving stadium.

We're a funny team. Even when we're on top and dominating possession, we always look like conceding :?
