Ok maybe I went a bit too far saying I miss denilson, but seriously! I Don't think it's a problem of motivation. Ramsey is just not good enough. Yes he's commited, he runs all over the pitch, but for me he just looks like a headless chicken. Most of his runs are just useless, his positionning is pretty useless as well, and dear god... This is a must for a footballer, in my humble opinion, he doesn't know how to shoot!
Let's not kidd ourselves with the win over villa. Yes we were totally a different team in the second half, but two goals came from a pen, and one from a lucky deflection on Walcott. We didn't create any clear cut chance vs villa. Actually, we seem to create less and less of those!
It's not exactly one of the greats, but I think what we see here is the black and white attitude of the typical football fan.
FWIW, I think when things are going shite, it's a lot easier to see a game like this as shite. If we were still a team that was challenging for silverware and routinely turning these banana skins into a smash-and-grab three points, we'd all be much more excited.
