Why would they not say Arsenal would finish higher....they are FANS and they will say these things.Babatunde wrote:Where are all the plebs who chastised me back in November, when I claimed Spuds would finish miles ahead of us?
Any cream with that humble pie?
It doesn't make them plebs and eating humble pie isn't needed because it seems u are enjoying dishing the cream out to your FELLOW Gooners!
Not backing the Self Harmer to replace with some "super quality" then Donaldo ?donaldo wrote:We are 7th because of RVP's goals.Next season when hes gone we wont even finish top 10.
Somewhere in Oman's Division 2 there's a 17 year old world beater that nobody else has heard of mate. It'll all be sorted !

At other clubs you have an ambitious Board that sometimes pulls the trigger on a Manager too early......xgtdec wrote:how do other teams get shut of Managers, will it take attempts at physical abuse towards Wenger to get him out?? jump the barrier...fuck your ticket at him and then kick him in the nuts....is this what it takes??????
At Arsenal it is the complete opposite. The only way Wenger will go is if he pulls the trigger himself. I think he'll see out his contract regardless of results. So the upside is that think we only have another two seasons to go after this one.....June 2014!

Disgrace !
Shame on you ..........Sham on us !Rob Admin wrote:As Arsenal fans we have to face up to some very harsh realities. We have become a mid-talbe team of dross. I now will the opposition to score in hope that it might mean the mad bastard is moved on.
We've been shit before and much worse than this however there are those who believe we have a divine right to be championship contenders every year.
To will the opposition to score and that we lose is simply wrong !

And then of course in the middle ground there are those of that watched us when we were much worse, but thankfully have a greater mental capacity than a boiled potato, who can work out why there is more discontent now that we are not challenging for championships as opposed to back then.Herd wrote:Shame on you ..........Sham on us !Rob Admin wrote:As Arsenal fans we have to face up to some very harsh realities. Perhaps it was because we didn't rip up 93 years of history, mortgage our future, become a property company overnight, treat the paying supporters in a shambolic way, make prophetic statements about "competing with Europe's elite" and put in place a ticket price structure to match that will ensure w whole generation of supporters will probably never get to watch their favourite club. And perhaps having a bunch of non-entity corporate administrators running the club for the sole purpose of creating more wealth for an already independantly wealthy individual with no interest in the club or its supporters has a bearing too
Honestly Herd, beyond the kids who read Match magazine every week and think we should spend £200m, play like Brazil and win everything, there are a group of fans that have been going for 20,30, 40 years or more who can distinguish between the misery days of the 70s and 80s (and earlier periods) and now, but still feel pissed off

Re: Disgrace !
Top post Steve-o, if this is they direction the team is heading then I'd give anything to be watching us with 20,000 others at Highbury who cared and showed as much passion as the majority of the players on the field. We were all one big family, we were the Arsenal and we were proud to be associated with all things the club represented.... We were class and showed it. Now, we as fans are disregarded, watching a team of overpriced youngsters who believe they have made it when in all honestly they have done nothing in the game. We mean nothing to them and Arsenal means nothing to them as they continue to collect their wages week in and week out. But then why should they when the majority of the fans see the club as a tourist attraction and the board are more concerned with keeping these type of fans to drive in as much revenue and line there own pockets. Its a sad state of affairs.SteveO 35 wrote:And then of course in the middle ground there are those of that watched us when we were much worse, but thankfully have a greater mental capacity than a boiled potato, who can work out why there is more discontent now that we are not challenging for championships as opposed to back then.Herd wrote:Shame on you ..........Sham on us !Rob Admin wrote:As Arsenal fans we have to face up to some very harsh realities.
