Wenger Out Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If it goes up anywhere near the In Arsene We Trust banner then if/when the club try to remove it (while leaving the IAWT one up) it'll only further highlight the fact they're trying to silence any dissent/freedom of speech. Plus it should be easy enough from there to give a quick shout to the photographers behind the goal as you unfurl it and you'd be guaranteed press exposure - even more so if the stewards tried to take it down.

Agree with augie though, light-hearted piss-taking & constructive criticism aside, anyone who feels strongly enough to slate the banner bandits for not showing it could easily come up with their own if they wanted. Even if it's just a homemade "enough's enough" spunked across a bed sheet smoothie style. Not sure if dried up baby batter might count as a blunt instrument though, so maybe better off with a felt tip. :?

I am going to do something I have not done since 2009: I am going to pay to attend an Arsenal home match with one sole purpose:

1. To actually confront the bunch of dickheads with that 'IAWT' banner and give them a torrent of abuse.
2. To get a seat behind Wenger's dugout, and scream the mother of all obscenities at him. All in French of course.

Any any AKB who feels brave enough to take me up on it will be more than welcome to come and let me know, face to face. Though somehow, I doubt this will happen....

I cannot make Blackburn, so it is looking like it is going to have to be Spuds at home! I couldn't have picked a better fixture personally, because that game is going to be Arsene Wenger's fucking Alamo.
It is going to kick off big time at that one.

What happened to the In Arsene We Trust banner in the 2nd half of the Villa game. Couldn't see it on the TV

Laughed my bits off before the game when ESPN zoomed in on it and someone gave it the old wanker shuffle and V sign over it.......they quickly zoomed out again :D

No, it probably won't happen... but only because I don't actually believe you'll do it.

If there's one thing I've learned from this forum, it's that people who talk the talk on the internet don't often walk the walk, and go through with there plans, so until I have a reason to think otherwise, I'll just assume you're an all talk, no action, keyboard wielding ultra. (and that's not a dig at you, mate - it's just the reality of an online community)

Anyway, which game have you booked? or highlighted for your IAWT/Wenger outburst? there should be plenty of tickets for Blackburn...

Or are you skiiing with frankbutcher this week?

This might sound very easy, but might be worth a punt...

Make an exact banner of "In Wenger we trust", take it into the ground with a red felt tip marker. When inside the ground colour in the "t" in trust, and unveil the new "In Wenger we rust" banner. It might actually take a while for the stewards to realise the typo as well.

Simples
