Who should play against Blackburn?

Who should play against Blackburn?

Post by jrthgooner »

As a season ticket holder I get to go to all of the home games and have watched almost all of the away matches live via the internet this year. I like so many am fed up of watching players put in second rate performances and still be rewarded with a starting spot the next game. Does my fucking head in that the French c**t in charge fails to see players out of form!!
I would like to see the following team start against Blackburn with the simple instruction that they are playing to stay in the team so show you give a shit:
Woj S (we have no other keeper worth a place)
Sagna (best right back in the league)
Koscielny (still not his biggest fan but he is playing well this year)
Vermaelen (back in his proper position at long last)
Gibbs (is a good player IMO if he can stay fit but we need him now)
Oxlade-Chamberlain (in good form and a real threat)
Coquelin (uses the ball better than song and will actually tackle)
Arteta (steady and links play well)
Ramsey (can pick a pass and runs into the box unlike his team mates)
Rosicky (will track back, tackle and attacks well)
Van Persie (class class class)
SUBS:
Flappy (noone else to do it)
Song (not playing well but can cover a couple of positions)
Mertersacker (IMO shit player, but who else is there??)
Benayoun (solid peformer without setting the world alight)
Henry (only to come on if playing up front)
Park (who knows if he is any good? record says he's a goalscorer)
Walcott (pace against a tiring defence if needed)

I would like to think that team has enough class and energy to beat Blackburn but you never know (can't believe I am saying that)!!!

I'd like to see Arsenal have more of a go at teams like Blackburn at home instead of playing the 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 system.

Two strikers and two wingers, with 2 midfielders sitting behind. Saying that, do you have the personnel for such a system?

Sadly with our failure to buy a top striker we do not unless Park is given a go for a few games alongside Van Persie

Well I'm still a bit pissed off that Red Member has been banned, so in his absence, I would like to see:

Almunia

Djourou
Squllaci
Miquel
Yennaris

Arshavin (captain)
Denilson (recalled from loan)
Song

Henry
Park
Walcott (hopefully with a new bumper deal of 100k per week)

No place for RvP who should have been sold or that 'arrogant moron' Chesney

Can someone please let Red back in the room, or at least give an explanation as to why he was banned :(

There'd be nothing wrong with playing 4-3-3 if anyone other then Robin could actually finish. FFS, Vermaelen is probably our 2nd best at finishing.

Agree with this post, players like Song, Walcott and Ramsey have been poor for a long time, Mertersacker is still not up to standard, these players need to be dropped so they can up their game.

The Frimpong loan deal looks a bad move now, we could have competed for a spot.

As per usual, the first team can relax, they know they don't have competition for their spots, they have deputy's.

Shocking way to manage a team.

An explanation would be nice, as far as I could see he was just a plum that had a different view to the miserable lot, hardly worth a banning.
