Milan game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Milan game

Post by Chippy »

I was going to do a poll but can't see the option anywhere. Am I blind or is it no there.

does anybody think we have any chance at all tonight? Proably got the best line up available to score goals but 5......

If we score a couple in the first half I might start to hope, but it's proably going to be more like the last Manure CL game. :(

Bloody hell 3 in the first half, but in the end it was lack of strength in depth that let us down. Bringing on Chamakh and Park was never gonna be the game changer.

chippy, after you press the new thread button, there's the usual screen for typing your post. below the big white space for you to write the post, there are the buttons "save", "preview" and "submit" in the middle. below that, there is an "options" tab (where you can disable bbcode, smilies, etc), and on the right of it there is a "upload attachment" button and the "poll creation" button. click that one, and it will give you the chance to write the question and possible answers.

obviously, this only appears if you're making a new thread, not if it's a regular post.

and about the milan game, it made me think about one thing: i know ifs and buts are meaningless, but what if rosicky had a "normal" career at arsenal, not blighted by injuries? i know most people disagree with me, but i see him as an incredibly talented and hard working player. one can only wonder how far he would've gone if he wasn't made of glass.

I thought we had a real chance of it; I was rewarded with a fine display, though we understandably petered out at the end (and rode our chances on our way there).

Ran out of steam at the end but what a difference between the 2 games

Ox, RVP, Rosicky, whole defence were excellent but yet again Song, Theo and Gervinho did nothing very disapponted with them....

On another note i actually quite like Gary Neville as a co-commentator :|
