[Rosicky's Right Boot]

I've always been an ardent supporter of Rosicky, he is an extremely good player. His movement is good and he controls games, as we have seen against Blackburn, Tottenham and Milan recently. His injuries are the only reason he isn't revered the way Van Persie is, there is no doubt in my mind that had he been consistently fit and in the team he would have developed into one of our focal points. Hopefully given his recent good health that may yet happen.

I previously thought that he should be sold but he's really stepped up since Jack has been out, I feel a lot more comfortable with Rosicky playing the AM role rather than Ramsey atm. He deserves his new contract.

Like to see him get a one year deal with extra couple of years on season by season option.

Having lost Arshavin, and with Diaby injured a lot, Rosicky has a role to play in the squad, though I am not sure he will start too many games if Wilshere returns to top fitness.

I disagree that he wont start with Wilshire. Song, Wilshire, Rosicky is a decent midfield 3. Ramsey should never play again. Arteta as a back-up to any of the 3. Hopefully a new signing in the summer as well.

He is and always has been an excellent footballer who just like Arsene does with most players has not played in the centre that often. I wouls rather have him in the squad than Diaby, Denilson, Arshavin and Bendtner any day of the week

i always really wanted him to do well cos i was so happy when we bought him... and now maybe (maybe?!) it seems he's put his injuries behind him and has started to find a bit of form and confidence

It's a shame he's lost his shooting boots (the ones when he was banging them in from 30 yards for Dortmund).
His best games (Spurs and Milan) have been when he's been able to drive the box and harass the opposition when out of possession. It's just a shame we same to hardly play like that, because when we do, we are a handful for most teams.
For me, he's a squad player at best though. Like the idea of him covering injuries but trying to change a game but not as the squad "go to guy"

Lot of fans getting carried away with Rosicky.Yes he was great at home v the Spuds and Milan.But away v Milan Sunderland and Liverpool he was anonymous.Talk about a new contract after two games is premature.Havent we learned about giving contracts on the strength of a couple of good games

I hold my hands up and admit I have been wrong about Rosicky because I never thought he's have another influential game in an Arsenal shirt again after his injury but I am wrong and I'm glad I am.

Rosicky IS a fantastic footballer, you don't lose skill. He is a gifted, intelligent player who showed to me vs Spurs and more so vs Milan that he FIGHTS for Arsenal, he cares for Arsenal and watching his post-match interview on Arsenal player, he looked chocked, he gave everything on that pitch!

This is a good example of how easy our fans are to please. Not having a pop at anyone in particular but a couple of good games doesn't make up for years of mediocrity from one player. Yes there are more pressing concerns than getting rid of Rosicky but I think people need to just wait and see if this lasts.

Agree with Donaldo & Sutch, has played well in a couple of games recently, but has also been poor in a few games. We're best waiting until the end of the season and asses then.

For me he has to show a lot more to justify a new contract.

They say a week is a long time in football so in the few weeks that the Forum (Great to have it back btw but with some effing reservations ) has been in limbo so much has happened and one man that I previously would have bracketed in a dirty(useless) half dozen that have long outstayed their welcome and contracts at the club has emerged with a lot of credit and has gone a little way to replacing some of the lost faith in him. The guy has owed us a season for a long time now and is hopefully in the very least going to give us a 'Nasri' one i.e a good half one and then maybe then we might consider the fact that like RVP, he finally has beaten the battle of post serious injury and genuinely is back to his previous best. Guy was terrific against Milan, Cesc like, putting in a huge workload and always looking to get forward. How many points would the guy have saved/won for us if he put in that sort of effort or being in that sort of form during the early season. Jury is still out for me whether he should get offered a new contract but if he continues to deliver in that style, well i think we could do worse. One good day doesn't make a Summer and all that but TR7 is one of those players who sure knows how to pull the fickleness strings of us Gooners

He has been poor for years, not just a few games this season. So he puts in a couple of half decent performances and we are supposed to revise our view of him? He represents so much of what is wrong with the Club. Average players being rewarded for failure. He should be gone at the end of the season along with Diaby, Walcott and a few others.

he clearly has more quality than diaby or ramsey or denilson or any of the other chumps in our midfield other than wilshire. why on earth would you cut him? we'd be left with nothing because you KNOW AW isnt going to sign a good replacement.

Always liked Rosicky, one of the few players who picks up the ball and drives forward toward the goal every time.

He's been poor over the few years because of injuries in my opinion. This is an example of a Rosicky at fitness and as long as he keeps his fitness he will always be this good.
