Re: Rosicky
Maybe its a case of too little too late. Yes he has had a few very good games but overall he has been a massive disappointment. Im sure an expensive one as well.
You never know when he will get injured so I would not gamble on giving him another contract. Van Persie he is not.

Unbelieveable, 2 good games on the back of years of

Any feelings of positivity, or thoughts that maybe Wenger had woken up, have just been dashed.

Re: Rosicky
New contract now time will tell if he has turned a corner of if he was just playing for a contract, me personally i am happy he has signed a newcontract, it dont say how long its for but i guess its only 1-2 years max, would way rather have him in the team than diaby ramsey etc,

Re: Rosicky
thats it then. don't expect anymore MOM performances from him soon

Re: Rosicky
Ridiculous. I have always liked Tommy, ever since he signed, but this is mad. By signing mediocre players up to long term contracts is one of the main contributing factors to the situation we now find ourselves in, where we have to sell to buy. I would love to believe that Tommy hasn't got a pay rise off the back of two/three decent performances, but it certainly appears that way.
Oh, and how is it that TR7 is happy to sit down and talk about a new contract during the season, but RvP can't because he has to "stay focused on his football"?

Re: Rosicky
How old is he ? 30 and got a 2 year contract.... Hmmm.. Pires gets offered a 1 year, Sylvestre gets a 2 year deal on signing... Hmmmm...
As I said above, just hope he doesn't revert back to his former self now he's put pen to paper.

Re: Rosicky
Rosicky has been quality this year a couple of goals as well. I would play him in the middle with Song and Ox again tonight, Theo on the right Gervinho left, happy days
Re: Rosicky
it is also in the german sport paper Kicker http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/intl ... sicky.html I think it also has something to do with the fact that Podolski will come
Re: Rosicky
You really couldnt make crap like this up could you ?

I would echo what TS has said in that I too have always liked rosicky as a player but fact is he should have to earn a new deal and 2 or 3 good performances in a row doesnt come anywhere near earning a new deal. We can all prepare ourselves now for the customary niggle that turns into a long term injury and all the while another 60k ish will be wasted on a sky high payroll. This is a big fingers up to all those gullible fools who suggested as recently as yesterday that wenger has seen the light and will offload all the dross in the summer - senile old fool hasnt got a scooby doo

Re: Rosicky
Lets hope he's an RvP and not a Denilson.

Re: Rosicky
I still dont know which Rosicky is the real one??? Is he the injury prone player who turns his back on freekicks that havent gone in yet and goes missing in important games or the one we've had in the last 3 games who has shown some great form?????
and with all the above we give him a new long term, highly paid contract

Re: Rosicky
Flash, he was pish in the pool game, how anyone can doubt who the real Rosy is, I find baffling, we have had 5 or 6 seasons to figure that out, now there are doubts because of 2 good games? Come on lads pull your heads out of your arses.flash gunner wrote:I still dont know which Rosicky is the real one???
