turn it up richpye. newcastle are average. their position highlights how weak the PL is these days. the big clubs have got weaker as have the rest. thats why the promoted teams now more often than not stay up and why english clubs have dropped off in europe in the past few years.

quality has dropped massively, entertainment has gone up (if you are a neutral). its tied in with the drop off of sterling vs the euro and the tax rates.

My new pundit hero G. Nev gave a great summary of Verm's winner. What a run from end to end.

Well done lads. :barscarf:

As for Tiote cheating all match (again) and Krul thinking he has the right to speak to RVP, ridiculous. Gerrin!
HAHAHA TIM KRUL, beaten by their time wasting!

THOMAS VERMAELEN!!!!! The man next to me

3 golden points

And again 2 assists from “”"”useless” Theo Walcott

are you serious? A very tough match against a good but very physical team, who were aided by a poor ref; but a very well deserved win!!!!

With apologies to those who do not drink, I am having a wee dram after that performance!

Credit to Pardew for not whinging in his post match interview, didn't deny that Krud was time wasting, fair play to him.

We've had a champions league finalist in 6 of the last 7 seasons! - what era are you comparing it to, when you say we've "dropped off"??

FFS can we not just celebrate another great performance and a well deserved 3 points. And as our new favourite manc *word censored* said those last minute goals are so sweet.

pires yes i am serious, id venture most would agree with me too. they are average. they have a few decent players, but on the whole are a much of a much ness.

theres very little differnece between the teams 6th to 14th. all are interchangable pretty much.

distinct lack of quality in the pl these days.

haha armchair...its all about money thats why AA was so demotivated...he thought he was gettin sh*t loads then the tax hit! (well that and the fact AW isolated him and never played him in his proper position, but this isnt the tie or place for that....)!

g88ner indeed, i think we have. this season no semi finalists, last year 1, the year before just 2 quarter finalists.

im enjoying the result, makes it sweeter that its pardew, just disagree that newcastle are not all that.
