Turned Liverpool into even more of a joke football club, long live queen Kenny.
Like Stewart Downing, 0 Goals - 0 Assits, Why does he get a game, as a winger there the only 2 roles of his job and he has done none of them all season, makes walnutt with about 8 goals and 12 assists look like a world beater,

Glad we didnt sign that idiot
The 0 goals 0 assists statistic is hilarious.

As am I, but the way Liverpool fans were going on about him you'd have thought that they had beaten us to the signing of Messi.

However! It's taken him one season to win a trophy!

The Milk Cup is as much as a trophy as the Emirates Cup.

We werent saying that when we reached the final last season. It was going to be the springboard to our future domination of English football   :)

I've never thought much of it, even when we were in the final. Obviously given the choice of whether to win it or not I'd pick yes but to clubs in Europe it's just constitutes fixture congestion hell hence the likes of United and ourselves playing a youth team.

If we finish in the top four and of course trophyless but Liverpool finish outside of it having won the CC, who's season can be declared the most successful?

Tough call I think. I always said that silverware is the main priority but I don't know that the CC would console me much if we were getting dicked week in, week out in the league...

Dalglish is King...Reds win the Derby. Everton don't bother turning up but so what. Last night proves once again that they are the best in Europe. Stevie G is best in world with only Bale coming near.
Anyway another week of delusion for the victims. Stoke City may not be as user-friendly on Sunday.
First home Premier League win in 2012
First Premier League game when Gerrard started that they won.
33 goals in 28 games.
Opponents leave out possible three best players with Cup game in mind.

Apart from that they are a top club , their Captain a top player and their Manager a genuis

we weren't saying that either- in fact I wouldn't have the nerve to brag about it. I would have enjoyed it, of course, but really it wasn't going to serve as anything but a bit of relief for the trophyless spell.

I'm pretty sure people said "If we won it it could change our season and give us a winning mentality", only if's and buts. And it all hopeful, I didn't know anyone who said "This is going to change everything", people made comparisons to '87 v liverpool but it was all hopeful if anything

stupid poxy forum will only let me embed 3 quotes

Splitting hairs a bit??? Apparently winning it would give us the winning mentality to go on but the bottling players couldnt even beat an eventually relegated B'ham so god knows where that winning mentality was going to come from

i like the way he completely ignored the actual point, which was that regardless of whether or not there was a touch on suarez, he didn't need to not only roll around holding his ankle, but actually roll his :censored: sock down and take off his shinpad as though he'd been thoroughly chopped.
and this is AFTER he's got the pen, so what's he trying to achieve? oh he's trying to cheat to get our player sent off kenny, VERY sporting
