As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Listening now...and dont know why....pure shit. NOT FUNNY, or INTERESTING. Just want to hear what was said about gooner ed, and why.
Better be in this ep otherwise i've wasted almost an hour of my life.

It's at 50:48 from the 14th March episode.
Just heard it. As suspected, shouldnt have bothered. No doubt he was selling it face value, so police again wasting time and money rather than going after the real touts.
What an awful podcast, they like the sound of their own voices and opinions far too much.
Never met the man so don't have an opinion however, the Gooner as a magazine lost interest for me years ago .
I do have every sympathy with anyone whose had the full Islington Police experience and the law in this case is indeed an ass .
At the same time everyone knows it's against the Law to resell tickets ,so in hindsight ,a bit of discretion might have gone a long way .
Happy to stick a tenner in the defence fund if your doing one !
Think the Tuesday club is ok,cant stand when Alan Davies starts shouting the same thing over and over ,its not funny and never will be.
The football ramble is a good podcast, bit samey week after week, the football weekly podcast from the guardian with James Richardson is by far the best out there IMO.
Sorry if this is off topic but couldnt find a related thread, is the Gonner Marketplace section locked as a result of Gooner Eds experience at the Milan game? Are we no longer allowing spares to be advertised on here?
Re-opening Marketplace is next on my list of things to do. There will be some slight amendments to how it's used for tickets, although it's not as a result of Kevin's problems at the Milan game.

As for the Tuesday club it's a brilliant podcast by far the best Arsenal one out there. It's like you and your mates down the pub taking the piss over a few beers.
I think it's hilarious, but I guess humour is subjective.

It would be a pretty awful podcast if they hated the sound of their own voices.
I think its great, i dont agree with all of their opinions on Arsenal but its far from pravda bullshit. There are some in-jokes that we're not supposed to get but as the podcast is free im not sure there is much cause for complaint.
Some of their stories are interesting, Alan Davies love or loathe him knows his football and tbh, contrary to what you say i think it treads the line between having substance and taking itself too seriously very well. Unlike some other podcasts where you just get 4 blokes sitting around who we're supposed to be really impressed with because they've played football manager and learnt a few words.
It's easily the funniest thing Davies has done, for me anyway.

I used to listen to it and enjoy it too but the giggling and arse kissing drove me mad and in the end gave up, havent listened to it for a few months now
