I wanted Wenger out. I still believe there needs to be change at the club but...
The WORST Arsenal side for 20 years are now ABOVE the BEST Tottenham team for 50 years.
No matter how angry I get with the personnel and the management of our club this still very much makes me proud and makes me smile.
I know things aren't rosy at our club and we have a long way to go but let's just hope (whether by luck or skill) we can continue this run and remain above them and Chelsea for the rest of the Season
Forever in our shaddow...
For clarity - Please read this

So do you still want him out? Or has the 4+ years of capitulation lowered your expectations so much that a few good results and a bit of fighting spirit has changed your mind?

I'm not fickle, my opinion just happens to change according to how well we are doing. I still think that if Wenger should stay or go, doing nothing isn't an option.

While I agree with you, Augie. Maybe the reason the 'fickle' fans are changing ththeir minds is because of what they are seeing on the pitch? I'm not one of them and I fully expect certain players to return back to previous levels of crapness and us to fall apart but let's all enjoy the current situation - it might not last long
As I said, I still think their should be change. But it is great having results and luck go in our way. No matter how much I hate the current state of the club or the management at ALL levels it is great knowing that we are above them lot after all the crap we've had this year.
I just wanted to leave the stress and worry of where our club is going / is behind for one evening and enjoy an evening when results went our way.
Peace out! I'm off to watch MOTD followed by The Apprentice.

Crossed posts. I still want him out. My expectations haven't been lowered. It's just that in a season of s**t this is one of the better days and I wanted to make a positve contribution.

Just for clarity - do you still want him out?
Yes mate. I'd love to see the back of Wenger......
But at the same time it is a pleasant change to see some fighting spirit and winning never-say-die attitude in the middle of a sea of abject failure and mediocrity.

Hmmm, sorry I've only read a few of the posts above, but let's get a few things straight here. Yes, it's great to be above the scum and yes, it's good to be in the C.L spot (even though I disagree with the qualification process for it - top 4, top 3, a recipe here for saying, yes it's just like winning a trophy... but IT'S NOT), fans, supporters should remember where we actually were in 2004, compared to now and I just hope that Wenger, who let's face it, isn't going anyway, at least for another 2 years, doesn't rest on his laurels and thinks during next summer, ''yes we done well last season, my vision and ways are the right way, the only way, and I don't have to do bugger all in the transfer market'' (again)!!
I still want Wenger out. That will not change unless we finish 3rd this season, he does what needs to be done in the summer and we win at least one (big) trophy next season.
Its really not as simple as getting Wenger out. None of us know the financial pressure he has been under. A new boss would not change that.
For Wenger to stay he has to sign Van Persie and Walcott to new deals. Sign Podolski and the Ajax defender.
Get rid of Squallaci and Chamkah and use players who are on form.
I did not agree with dropping Ox for Ramsey. Ramsey is not dire like some of our recent midfield players but He has not been playing well and should be the sub coming on to prove he deserves his place.
If the above things dont happen then its not worth Wenger staying because we are going nowhere.
With these in place we can be back challenging because City and United are not that far ahead now in terms of quality.
We just cant afford to use players like Djourou in defence they are liabilities
