Because it's driving the Scousers and Chavs mad! They keep waiting for you to fail and up you pop with another 3 points!

Keep it going lads - nice to see a team doing well without a sugar daddy.

I have to say, I was desperate for Usmanov in January, it felt like we only had 1 good player and that we were declining at a rapid rate.

Now, i'm more than satisfied in nearly every position in the pitch (want a experienced right back, Flappy replacement, Podolski and Vertonghen) and if we are frugal in the summer, we have a seriously competitive squad.

I still want usmanov to take over the club.

I still want a new manager in the summer and am hopeful that prospective managers will look at the club in a more positive way now and be more willing to take over.

I still want a serious squad overhaul with several departures and signings.

In the meantime I am revelling in the new found fighting spirit in the team :barscarf:

the only fear i have in case we get a new manager, is that we end up with someone with the best of intentions like dalglish, to go and spend to raise the quality, but then spends dozens of millions on the likes of henderson, downing, adams, carroll, etc... (and let's admit, who here didn't say liverpool was putting a serious team together by the start of this season? i remember most here being worried about them)

difference is they can make the mistake, someone injects more money and they try again. when we spend and it backfires (like arshavin), we end up with the guy dragging his ass on the first team for seasons.

Theres much, much more to it than money - like defensive coaching, tactics, studying the opposition, new assistant, new staff, medical team etc.......
No-one, no-one has ever said they want "dozens of millions" spent. But had he invested in the squad where it was patently obvious to everyone with a brain over the last 5 years or so instead of pissing the money away on "prospects" i guarantee we'd have won at least one real "trophy"
Its not about the money mate - theres so much more than just money.

Main problem is Van Persie and Walcotts contracts. Both have to be signed on long term deals then Wenger has to sign that Ajax defender and get rid of Chamkah and Park. Podolski is another signing needed and that will leave space for one more striker and away we go.
Flip side of the coin is that RVP and TW leave and Chamkah is back up to Podolski. See the team fall again and out of any possible chance of winning the title and the Champ League

I thought he was Monostich, as I saw similarities in his posting style and as Monostich posted from Swansea.

I'm willing to give the bloke a chance though.

Still not convinced Walcott is worth it, he has shown form like this before. As soon as we have a bad result he will hide away again.

I have tried to be nice. Honestly, I really have, but I just cannot be nice to the neighbours

I havent sworn or called them inbred or made any reference to the slums of Swansea at all. I really have been good.
