Chesney - utter class

I must admit I have been a bit hard on Chesney on here

he has definitely established himself as number 1 in the past few weeks.

he still needs to learn to kick the ball but he is slowly getting there I think.

heart attack or not, he hasn't fucked up yet with those kicks as long as i remember. i tried to be a 'keeper myself until i realised i was doomed to be a midget, and it's not easy when the defender gives you the ball under pressure and you're expected to make the best of it, you need space for a long punt and sometimes it isn't even on your good foot (remember goalkeepers are usually more one-footed than normal players).

schmeichel liked to give a few heart attacks as well and he rarely fucked up. i think chesny is more schmeichel than barthez. he's obviously not the non-nonsense type like seaman was.

Yeh was a nice touch another goalie who had a wonky foot was John lukic man it was wayward
