COQ

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

But it is the bare minimum that a club like Arsenal should be attaining. To me, I start every season hoping that we win the league, but if we don't then I hope that we at least qualify for the Champions League. Simple as that. I agree that we should have our sights higher than 4th, but I don't think that finishing 3rd or 4th is absolutely unthinkable either.
Fair enough.

Ok but lets narrow that down........is finishing 3rd or 4th this season good enough ? Without doubt this is the worst premier league ever and the worst manure team ever to win a league but yet we are not even without touching distance of them  I think the standard this season has been so shit that we should have done a lot lot better

Not really, as TS said it's obviously not first choice but for Wenger and his cultists I would actually say it is. If we were fucking relegated they'd readily accept it as long as Wenger was in charge.

Ah well, a few mental Euro trips to Famagusta and Kharkiv will be more interesting than another Barcelona or Porto!
