No doubt we'll win and beat the Chavs at home too, but throw all the good work away by losing at the Britannia and Molineux.

I can see us doing for Terry Connor what we did for Steve Kean at the start of the season

This, except I don't see us beating Chelsea or Man City.

I see our run in going as follows:

Man City (Loss)
Wolves (Draw)
Wigan (Win)
Chelsea (Draw)
Stoke (Loss)
Norwich (Win)
West Brom (Draw)

9 points, so all Chelsea need to do is get 14 from a possible 21 and they've got us.

Man City 1 - 0 Arsenal (PL)
Arsenal 0 - 1 Man City (CC)
Arsenal 0 - 0 Man City (PL)
Man City 0 - Arsenal 3 (against 10 men for 80mins) (PL)
Arsenal 0 - 0 Man City (PL)
Man City 3 - 0 Arsenal (CC)
Man City 4 - 2 Arsenal (PL)

What a shocking record 1 win in last 7 in all comps and only scored in 2 out of 7 against them. Prediction 0-0.
the CC matches are pretty deceiving, our last 2 home PL games have been 0-0, so all is not lost, and at the moment City look like they are there for the taking -

I see this as a must win. A draw is better than a loss, but we can't afford to fall behind. The Scum are at Sunderland next, and with Sunderland's form hopefully the scum will drop 3. I don't care how we do it, but we need this win.

1-0 to the Arsenal will do! :barscarf:

I think we're a bit too pessimistic about the Chelsea game but if they come into it having reached the Cup final and still in with a shout in the CL, they will no doubt have momentum. Sadly I think the Scummers will turn them over at Wembley, but the good news there is that they'll be coming to our place hopefully worse for wear and with a good hiding from Barcelona hanging over them too.

West Brom are on their holidays and Norwich will be when they come to us.

The games I fear without doubt are the trips to the Brittania and Molineux when Monsieur Fawlty will no doubt be standing in familiar arms-wide-open pose, harrassing the 4th official as we get rolled over despite 65% possession

Citeh could well go into this game 8 points behind Utd, if that doesn't demoralise and have them ready for the taking, then I don't know what would. That said we could find ourselves 3 points behind the spuds. (time for our great mental strength to show itself)

Man City are showing all the signs of utterly bottling this. Against us they were arguing amongst themselves, failing to get anything going when attacking, looked incredibly lightweight at the back and were fortunate to grab two late goals that came through a crowd to snatch a draw. I think you need to go for them from the off, sit back and they will score eventually but get Walcott (who has looked in fine form recently) to run at them and stretch them and provide RVP with a chance or two and I think you can take the lead. If you go ahead they will be under massive pressure as a draw (assuming Man Utd win tonight to go 8 clear) wont be enough. They're throwing it away and you can capitalise on it.

If you can beat them that should be top 4 pretty much sorted. We'll see what we can do against Spurs, we dont like them much so theres bound to be a good atmosphere. We've got nothing to play for but that didnt harm us (in fact it helped) against City. Plus our players have very sizeable bonuses in their contracts for finishing top 8 and they're all desperate to get the extra money (as always). We'll try and take care of those :censored: , you take care of City and you can look forward to at least getting top 4 but probably going on to take 3rd.

very good post SAFC

in the Carling Cup match v City at the emirates earlier this season I felt that the only difference between the sides was Aguero and hopefully he will still be injured

also if the atmosphere can match that game it should be good. poor little nasri will come in for more abuse 8)

can you please play as well as you did against Spurs as you did v City :D
how did you not win that game though!!!!

Maybe mancini will play savic this game  That guy is the worst player in the league. Toure will be easy to exploit at CB as well, during the game vs sunderland last weekend you could tell he is a little too tubby to play like he did for arsenal.

Cant see us losing this as I think their players will have given up the ghost after tonights result so they may lack a little sharpness (copyright a wenger)
Mind you on the other hand I cant see us winning either esp if the scum win their game and go ahead of us
All in all it looks like I am predicting a draw 8) :barscarf:

Its time for the team to get back on form. Van Persie could do with a goal now and Ramsey needs to pick up his act big time. I get the feeling OX would be doing a hell of alot more in that position.
If he can tear apart AC Milan then he can do it to the Prem.
