The Run-In Prediction Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I did post though earlier this season about the probability of Spurs 3rd, Arsenal 4th and Chelsea 5th and how I would be happy with that. I will bump it up

sell 3 players we dont need and give a bit more to a first choice player. simple
:barscarf: if theres anything a young, over confident geezer like Theo needs its a massive payrise .

:( SteveO will be sad about Diaby leaving though

I've looked at the fixtures + done the BBC predictor a good few times
(worryingly the last one I did had us and Chels level 4th on 72 points and +28 GD)
draws at home v ManShitty & Chels, losing to Stoke

Sperz way games arent super easy Sunderland, Bolton + Villa

I think 73 is good enough for 4th
and 76 points for 3rd

that said beat City, Wolves and Wigan and a win at the Grove knocks Chelski out

Just cheered myself up with the BBC predictor thread. So its

3rd Arsenal 74 points
4th Spuds 72 points
5th Chavs 66 points

We'll draw with City and lose at Stoke, but the 2-1 win at home to the Chavs will be the deciding result, as they would have already lost against their mates Fulham at the Cottage.

The Spuds are only going to draw at Sunderland and QPR, and then Bolton are going to turn them over at the Reebok on Weds 2nd May as they pull out of the drop zone.

Easy !

I predict that anybody who tries to predict any of our results after the season we've had is likely to have not just egg on their face but a complete omelette!
ManUre 8 Arsenal 2
Chavs 3 Arsenal 5
Blackburn 4 Arsenal 3
Arsenal 5 Tottenham 2
QPR 2 Arsenal 1
etc
.........I rest my case!!

I gave up a long time ago trying to predict the outcome of each game. I did decide to take a random guess at the top 5 team at the end of the season, but it's true, with those random outcomes it's anyone's guess as to how and where we'll finish.

I made pretty good money on the Sperz and Chelski wins,
had lumps on Arsenal -1 and -2 both times (3 wins out of 4)
