THE FORUM AS IT IS NOW

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This place is missing a melt-down by one of the posters. This forum needs a MrGun Norman Wisdom-style thread. Until then, this Forum is in a state of flux. :box:

It will take time to get things going again.
It has also been nice weather here, so I guess people have been out more grabbing it while they can.

The end of season run in should see excitement and resultant threads, and then the summer will be slow except on days we sign players, or during Euro 2012 if there are interesting games.

But come the start of the season, and the end of the transfer window, things will pick up again.

Desperate stuff from Quartz. I'm surprised you haven't blamed it on the recession..... Because of a decline in household income, people can't afford broadband and have had to cut back... :blah: :blah:

Frank

The Forum was never buzzing day in day out.

It would peak around our games, or transfer activity, or scandals, or board activity.

Other times it was quiet.

Yes things there was banter with **** and USMartin etc but it got out of hand and was killing off the Forum.

You were never much of a one for swearing in your posts or posting porn, you are usually posting on the more serious football issues or the financial aspects so what's bugging you?

I prefer to post without bizarre personal attacks
it would never be accepted in real life so it shouldn't be expected online

I'll try and post more, that should drag down the tone

Baba's still ranting, Red's still WUMming, I'm still loving Abou, the realists are still being realists, Kiwomya/MM-99 and others are still supporting Wenger - and there's nothing wrong with any of that - it was all going on before

All I know is that would be bloody boring if everyone slated Wenger, or everyone praised Wenger, and if we all liked and hated the same players

That's not being naive, its just failing to see what the bloody hell is different.

What makes a good forum then ? Being able to call someone every name under the sun?
F*ck me this is the first time i've got a mention out of nowhere! I'm honoured! Cheers for making my night SteveO :D

Although, i should point out i'm not totally in support of Wenger and only try and provide a balance on this forum, but feck it you've put in too much of a good mood :D
