As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
No wonder he loves Wenger. There is no other manager who would give him £60k a week let alone £3m a year for half an hours work all season. He's a fucking disgrace.he should do us all a favour and leave this summer.hes at the club as long as Wenger stays
There's no doubt that the chap is an excellent footballer, however his admission of wearing a Tottenham shirt, coupled with some truly shocking performances, decisions (the own goal against United comes to mind) and injury record means he has no future at the club.
He doesn't endear himself to the fans, rather he's content to sit around collecting his wage packet and making the odd statement about saying his injury concerns are behind him, before proceeding to prove the exact opposite about a week later.
Question is who will pay him that much? No one. We're stuck. Trapped.
This has to be 1 of the biggest failures of Wengers reign. What other club would give a player like Diaby a contract until 2015??. Yes I know his career was ruined by that prick who now works in an EDF call centre but this is a classic case of how now not to waste limited resources. Everyone involved should hang their heads in shame.
How original......and certain people think its boring when we have posters on here that take an alternative view.....in fact they get banned for having those views !
Yes, this is much more fun, having the umpteenth slagging off Diaby thread. Yawn. And what's caused it this time - the fact that he wants to repay the manager who has stood by him - yes, that makes him a total *word censored* in my book, what a nasty thing to say. Much better to do a Tevez and refuse to play, go AWOL for six months and act like a total mug....or Adebayor who after one good season hawked himself around to every top club and put himself in the same bracket as Thierry Henry
Yep, lets obsess about a guy who has been injured all season which is obviously his fault and who is paid the same amount as Chamakh and Almunia who have both been fit all season and done what exactly?
Abou to blame for the whole sorry mess this season. Everyone else has been excellent, whilst Abou has been absolutely woeful, not fit to lace Ramsey's boots clearly.
We'll just have at agree to disagree. For what it's worth, I think there are worse players at the club, and this thread will probably become a hatchet-job on your man but, he isn't good enough.
He doesn't play enough games (not his fault), when he does he's peripheral (my opinion, his fault) and I honestly think his work rate is too low for a player that is not a game-changer. It's a shame as he looked decent before his ankle was dismantled at Sunderland & the turn and run up the line Vs Villa showed what he could do but we can't pin our hopes on a crock that may contribute once in a blue moon.
I think I lost all hope after that own goal Vs Mancs.

Ramsey suffered the same if not worse leg break than Diaby yet he is back playing.Yes SteveO he actually plays for us something Diaby wouldnt know nothing about. The thing about Diaby is when he is fit(try and imagine it)he is shit

Yeah, and he's playing brilliantly too isn't he Ramsey? At QPR he was every bit as bad as Denilson
Steve O you are a big diaby fan and I respect that (even though I dont understand it) but is there a point in time where you would concede that it is time to sell him ? Forget about ability for a minute and focus on fitness and surely even you would acknowledge that he has major issue's when it comes to getting, and remaining, fit for any length of time. Of course his injury problems can be traced back to that horror tackle and that is very sad and harsh on the guy but the club comes first so at what stage would it be acceptable in your opinion for the club to cut their losses ?

He could repay the fans by leaving in the summer and getting us a few million to spend on a better player
