Sending him out on loan again next season doesnt suit us, either he gets sold and accepts a pay cut or let him be back up for RVP and/or Pod.
safcftm wrote:We certainly wont be loaning him again I wouldnt have thought- with Gyan probably off we need 2 strikers to come in and it makes no sense to have another temporary solution. I've heard £5m being banded around for Bendtner and that is an utter steal tbh, his wages may be an issue, and he might want to play abroad to get in the CL (although his son is settled in England and he is meant to be keen to stay near him) but I am pretty certain that O'Neill would love to add him to the squad for next season. There are clubs much higher in the league with much worse strikers (as mentioned, he's better than Park and Chamakh for starters, and for me he's better than Welbeck and Macheda etc). A club like us would be mental not to sign someone of his calibre and tbh you'd be daft letting him go for anything like £5m unless you need the money to bring in another 2 top class strikers- no point letting him go and playing Chamakh thats for certain

PS god, a sober post about Bendtner!!!
We will be crazy to not sell him for £5m if no other teams from europe comes up with a bid. He will be third or at the best second choice and will continue to bullshit about how he deserves a first team chance every week. The fact that he is better than Chamakh and Park means little, even a one legged Emile Heskey will be better than them. And the arrogant twat is not too big for Sunderland.

It means little if Wenger has noticed that Bendtner is better than them but has decided to bring in two strikers better than Bendtner. It means a fair bit (in my opinion like) if he has decided to let Bendtner go but intends on still using Chamakh and Park next season with any regularity. I see you seem likely to get Podolski right enough- him and RVP would make keeping Bendy a bit pointless especially due to his high wages and youd be better off bringing someone else in but even then I wouldnt be accepting anything like £5m for the lad- should be at least 8-10m, although I see your point about having to accept whatever is actually on the table. If I was Wenger I'd be looking for better than Bendy and would be hoping to encourage a Russian side to bid for him- if he'd move that far away from his son it would be a good deal for all concerned, he'd keep the big wage and you'd get a big transfer fee

The guy is seriously better than Chamakh and Park - most of us said that even before he was farmed out on loan.

He's not good enough for a team supposedly with PL and CL ambitions - which probably means he is good enough for us :D - but I don't blame him for not wanting to sit on the bench with us when he could easily getting a starting place for most PL teams outside of the top six or seven clubs.

Chamakh and Park would struggle to get in Macclesfield Town's starting line up however so are probably glad of warming the bench whilst filling their bank accounts with executive salaries

Harry Redknapp slagging off our Bendtner

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/vie ... -Bendtner/

Must admit, it'll be a laugh when Bendtner sticks those words down his :censored: ugly throat and helps cost him the champions league place. And as for saying we've only got him because Arsenal don't want him well aye, that'll put us in the same bracket as your lot then Harry, all your players would rather be at Arsenal aswell, don't let one half decent season where you'll still finish behind them fool you you deluded twat, if they got the cheque book out Bale would be off faster than you can say "tax dodging :censored: ". Where's your captain gone? Oh aye, he fucked off and won the double, piss off.

 cheers mate. Redknapp just pisses me off, he's fucked up the chance to finish ahead of the big boys in north London yet again so he's lashing out at anyone he sees as beneath him and his club. Sorry harry like but I wouldn't swap you for o'neill and I wouldn't swap our 6 league titles to be a deluded two bit cup team, don't buy into the premier league shite, you're not a huge club, you never have been, so don't you dare mouth off about our players. Bendtner might not be good enough for Arsenal but hopefully today he'll show that he's still more than good enough to destroy Spurs, for his permanent transfer he'll still be aiming for better than them. They really are the Newcastle of the south- big mouthed deluded twats with nowt to back it up with. I'm probably just in a mood because he slagged my Nicklas mind

Have said it before and will say it again, bendtner is fcuking shit - I watched him in 2nd half v the scum and he lazed about the pitch doing fcuk all, drifting out to the wings (get into the middle you c**t) and was destroyed in the air as per usual  he was only up against kaboul and gallas and they made him look hackney marshes standard

Talking of "lazing about"... I genuinely didn't realise Adebayor was on the pitch until he was subbed

He was fine in the air, won a few canny flick ons. Aye, he drifts out but that's because he isn't a centre forward, he's a link man. Not his best game by any means today but we gave him no service, he drifts and creates problems for the opposition, just a shame we never got an opportunity like we did against city when he drifted and larsson got in the middle for the third. He wasn't great today at all but he worked hard, looked for space when we weren't creating anything for him and was part of a side that got a credible enough draw. Based on what I've seen this season that was a 5 or 5.5 out of 10 but still canny

Typical Bendtner - had a cracking game the week before and then resorted to swaggering around, gum chewing and generally being a lazy *word censored*. I don't want him back at Arsenal.......

.......but he's still head and shoulders above the non-scoring Moroccan and National Service Boy :D

His national service has been delayed by 10 years don'tcha know! Hoorah, rejoice!

I expect we'll see Park for 15 mins or so tomorrow actually. High profile game, lots of TV coverage, big exposure in the far east etc etc...

be suprised if he even makes the bench, as anyone actually asked Wenger, why he isn't even playing, or why did arsenal sign him
