I remember a late Pires winner against Fulham at Highbury, being particularly pleasing at the time.

The last game at THOF without doubt

Managed to get my son to the game as well and he was only 5 at the time, so something to tell his grandchildren about in years to come. The fact that the Scummers were kind enough to literally shit themselves on our big farewell day and TH14 scored a hat-trick....just a great day all round

Being outside the stadium in Cardiff for the 2002 FA Cup Final, waiting for gates to open and listening to the Arsenal fans singing outside the City Arms (?) pub.

Arsenal beating norwich 5-0 at highbury in '89. Was one of my first times in the NB, atmosphere electric and we were top of the league I think.

United at home in 1997. Anelka's first goal, Paddy's screamer and Platt's header, brilliant.

Also, Chelsea away towards the end of 96-97 3-0 away win.

Coincidentally mine was on Good Friday 2004. We had just been knocked out of the FA Cup and CL (by the Chavs  ) and were 2-1 down at half time to Liverpool on our run in for the league. Everybody at Highbury was thinking we were going to blow it again. 3 second half goals including the TH14 one where he left half the scouse defence on their arses, saved the day and the rest is history! :barscarf: :barscarf:

April 2004 Vs Liverpool at home - When the invincibles won 4-2 at Highbury, I was front row of north bank upper, right behind the net. Henrys hat-trick was outstanding, and the way the scoring went. 1-0 down, 1-1, 2-1 down, 2-2. Then secondhalf, 3-2, 4-2 (if I remember rightly!). But what made this game stand out for me was the reaction to Henrys third - The massive red bar that goes accross the front of the upper tier was shaking!! Loudest I ever heard Highbury! :(

Any number really but probably the last time I stood on the North Bank; we beat the victims 4-0 and Limpar scored one from inside our penalty area (well it was a long way out anyway!). :barscarf:

+ the start of RVPs hatred of them...

my fave moments are, some obvious ones:
Linighan Winner in Cup final v Wednesday
Seaman's save from Zola FK in Parma CWC Final Copenhagen the next year (early but knew we would win it after that)
Adams goal v Everton in '98

some less obvious ones:
Limpar from 40 yards v Liverpool @Highbury
Bergkamp banger getting us into UEFA cup under Rioch
atmosphere v ManUre in CL till Gibb + Almunia fekked it up
Henry tearing Scousers a new arsehole: invincible
2 nil down v Villa (Merse scored for them) and winning (02?) in fact loved loads of late winners/equalisers v Villa
losing at Villa park and Linighan getting a late equaliser, Yossi's late winner

er sorry thats too many

used to be a win at the Bridge in the early 90's whewn we hadn't won there for a decade...
some bloke started on me outside and a policehorse stood on his foot - hilarious

I laughed when I saw this thread :)

Since i´m not English I haven´t had the luxury of attending many games, actually I´ve only attended 2. First was in 99/00 campaign at home against Liverpool , Arsenal lost 1-0 and I had to listen to the Liverpool supporters singing praises too Titi Kamara ( no idea if i´m spelling it correctly ) while walking to the train station.

The second game was away against Liverpool again, 06/07 campaign we lost 4-1( at least I saw an Arsenal goal although it came after we were 3-0 down)

as you can see I don´t have the greatest memories from the games themselves but just going to Highbury was something I´ll never forget .

I´m planning a third game next year so maybe I can finally see Arsenal win. :)
