As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

£70k a week in wages.
And yet, despite that, he isn't even good enough to make the bench ahead of Chamakh.
Another pathetic, retarded purchase by our pathetic, retarded manager.
FLOP of the season for real Gervinho....oooh but Arsene has no money...
Baba, for your own sake stop with the predictions! Stick to criticising the team after a loss! Team selection was spot on today and credit to all the players for a great performance.
he's arguments have fallen flat, so he has to retort to keep banging on about Wengers 6m salary and players on large salaries..ffs all the big clubs pay there players big wages - you telling me Nasri deserves that £180k per week

I so want Ramsey to completely recover from what wa san horrendous injury, - I mean only now is Eduardo beginning to hit the kind of form he first showed for us - But for him to act in such a selfish greedy manner when he had the best striker (RVP) just to his right who would have buried that chance, he may be 'out of form' but had we still been 0 - 0 and he did that, would have been unforgivable, he is beginning to make himself very unpopular amongst Gooners with his miss-passes and little tricks that DON'T come off!...mind you it is Wenger who persists in playing him...I somehow don't thin The Ox would have missed that opportunity.....
I think so mate. When i checked the line up before the game, i must admit i was surprised at Gervinho being left out. But when i thought about it Benayoun made more sense as he would have provided us more defensively than Gervinho would and he's also better at keeping the ball, which is important in these sort of games. If we needed to bring on more of an attacking threat we could have taken him off and brought on either Ramsey (which we did) or the Ox.
So i reckon the team selection was right today, even Ox's late sub as the game was too much in the balance to make it sooner, even though i really wanted him to come on sooner and give us that cutting edge that theo seemed to lack today.
Wenger should have brought on The Ox rather than Ramsey, yet again he get's it all wrong...we won yes! Thank the Heavens, but what I don't understand is why he is persisting with Rambo - who is just out of form - and not playing Ox who is straining at the leash to take on defenders.

I think most gooners would have started the Ox today, and almost none would have brought on Ramsey.
A bloody good win and well deserved too. Yes some of Wengers decisions are complete pony but today isnt the day to moan and groan. As much as I'd like a change of manager we ain't getting one and like Babutundes rants its an exercise in pointlessness
