Iconic Arsenal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Has got to the Arsenal tube sign for me, going past it on my commute to university never fails to give me a lift, no matter what the weekend's result.

Gotta be the cannon.

I was in Belgrade the other week and in one of the park's they've got all these old military weapons & guns on display including these old style cannons which looked exactly like the one on the old Arsenal badge. Did make me smile...

Red Shirts with white sleeves...simple concept made difficult too often by marketing people. Also the East Stand at Highbury , still have to walk by when over for games. Current crest is not good enough for Arsenal. The 70's cannon on the shirt and the full crest of that time were fine. Tube station always gives a buzz. finally an often forgotten one..The fact that the word "The" went before Arsenal..We are The Arsenal.

The Cannon. Not that new one you have as a pic in your post though which is from the new badge/crest. The old one from Vic Con Crest and before.
