WOLVES GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

RVP needs 11 goals to equal Ted Drakes recored 44 in a season
seems unlikely - unless he can fill his boots v Wolves and Wigan...

With the defence in tatters again and our likely complacency, I can see us dropping points here.

I dont think we will see complacency tonight, but with Johan at the back anything is possible.

6 points in our next two games and top four is all but secure......follow that up by beating Chelsea and third place should be done as well.

Need to confirm this now. Be tight tonight, 1-2 im going for :barscarf:

Bad timing!

Potentially.... Jenkinson, Djourou, Vermaelen, Santos ???

Defence worries make me think a draw.

This should be the easiest away game of the season.

hopefully the confidence from Sunday will still be there and none of the complacency shown in the QPR game.

With the lively Jarvis or Kightly up against Andre Santos and Djourou at the back,i expect us to have to score at least 3 to win tonight.Football has a nasty knack of kicking you in the gonads when you least expect it so hopefully we will not be complacent tonight. :barscarf:

If giibs is out due to fatigue (as was said on previous page) then it is time to send him to knackers yard

This is a game that has easy 3 pts written all over it and if we score early then it could be a massacre although we no longer have the players who have that ruthless go for the kill attitude :( The one concern I have is how we cope with fletcher - a big strong physical frontman sometimes causes us problems so how we cope with him plus what his attitude is like (sometimes questionable) will have a bearing tonight

3-1 or 4-1 to The Arsenal (with mary ann and super quality on scoresheet   ) :barscarf:

i havent heard of any of the Wolves back four but they are probably still too good for Chamakh to score against.

Santos should probably be first choice LB so it will be good to see him back.
Jenkinson can do a job at RB, a much better option than Djourou who has had to play there so often this season.

However Djourou played in his correct position should be fine tonight and in the game against Wigan next week.
I have every confidence in him.

Need to do a professional job and not have the complacency that we saw at QPR. Early goal then cruise to victory 8) 3pts a must
