WOLVES GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A win is a win.But dont anyone say we played well.Wolves are a championship side in all but name but with 10 men after 15 mins they were there for the taking.i like Ramsey but he had another shocker. And with a 2-0 lead at half time v 10 men why didnt Wenger give the Ox a whole half. What we do know is Chamakh and Park wont be at the club next season :barscarf: :barscarf:

A nice routine win to finish a successful Easter period. :barscarf:

i' d rather see him in the centre.

he's got nothing to learn about going at defenders imo, but he could do with some finishing lessons

A win, nothing to shout about but a win nonetheless. Onwards we march.

Ramsey is not the player we thought he will be but hopefully he will improve !

Ramsey is just crying out for a goal or an assist at the moment. I think we should all learn to be patient with him (see Rosicky), he's young and has ability. He's just in poor form at the minute!

I'm usually a glass half full person, but I'm surprised so many posters thought we played well. For the first 15 minutes we did but after that we were sloppy and could easily have tripped up.2-0 up after 15 mins against a 10-man relegated team, we should have looked a lot more composed and should have scored 2 or 3 more than we did.

Song was his usual slow, plodding self and Ramsey seems to be getting worse with every game. He is so predictable in possession that he presents very little threat and seems to have lost the ability to control the ball when under pressure.
AW needs to take some of the heat. A couple of early substitutions might have livened up our play (the Ox should have had at least 30 mins) and why the hell would you leave RvP on when we're 3-0 up!

Ramsey is lacking confidence, but it was growing during that game.

I'm refusing to write off a man who has just completed his first season since having his leg snapped in half. That takes time to get over.

Being Welsh AND being compared to Denilson is more than any man should have to bear.

i disagree - he started the season well after august, got over confident and started doing those stupid flicks and lazy passes and has been getting worse ever since.

if he needs time, great - that's what the reserves and loan spells are for. we need our best 11 out there every week don't we ?

welsh denilson. classic
