Dortmund's Keown moment

Post by arseofacrow »

Last night, Dortmund leading Bayern 1-0 with 5 mins to go; Robben wins a penalty; Keeper saves penalty;

...after which Dortmund centre-back Subotic gives Robben what's for

(penalty at around 2 mins)

Its not like Robben dived and was a dirty, cheating, pracing **** like van Horseface.

A bit uncalled for by Subotic but amusing none the less.

Stupid reaction by Subotic. He should be mad at his goalkeeper, Robben had nowhere to go from there so he shouldn't have made a foul on him.

Speaking of Van Nistelrooy, this Subotic guy reminded me of what Van Nistelrooy once did against Andorra:

Look at him. The great Ruud van Nistelrooy getting owned by an amateur from Andorra.

It may be safe to say that Robben didn't have the best of games.

Hi,
first of all great game!
Reports:

http://www.schwatzgelb.de/2012_04_12_ma ... -yeah.html
Pics later here:

Regarding the penealty and Subotic reaction. Ribery was diving two times before to get one. Robben was diving at every spot during the game and the SKY reports from 0:40 on is saying that it was no pen but the ref could not see it.
http://www.sky.de/web/cms/de/sport-medi ... 7343862001
Robben is hitting with his right foot his left one and then he is falling down. Ok maybe the goalie should not go out like that, but the issue with Robben is that he is a perfect 'flying dutchmen'.
Subotic actually would like to play PL one of these days because he thinks it is a mens league and there is less diving  8)

So, 4 games to go six points clear we will see, big clash Derby against the blue whites from Schalke on saturday (we like them as much as you like Tott...) :box:

Black+Yellow wishes from Germany,
Thomas

Best of luck Vs Schalke, man-mark Huntelaar and keep an eye on the evergreen Raul and you should be ok! Subotic thinks there is less diving in England? That's funny..............

PS: what are your views on Klopp? I rate him, in fact, I could think of a club he'd be good for in England. :barscarf:

Useless, Robben! I had that game down as 1-1 for a chance to win a football kit.

I thought it was a 50/50 call on the penalty, but they're usually given, and it looked like Arjen would have had control of the ball after the touch, so I can't be too aggrieved with the call. The shot itself was poor. Subotic's reaction was a little bit over the top, though maybe Robben had words with him earlier that sort of justified it.

Tomas, congrats on the big win of the "German classico" !
