Le Sulk has a job

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yes the new player manager of Shanghai

I hope he succeeds. Is it really 14 years ago he popped that goal in at Wembley to seal the double?

It's a bit unclear. Some are saying he's replacing Tigana, others that he's been appointed player/coach by Tigana. :?

Not that he'll ever admit it, but I do wonder if Anelka regrets leaving Arsenal.

What might have been eh! Imagine him and TH14 upfront together in their prime.

Then again, Anelka left in summer 99, the same summer we signed Henry. If Anelka had never left Arsenal, we may never have known the legend that his Henry.

I seem to remember him doing so in an interview a couple of years back. Also, he played in tandem with Henry in a few games for the U21 so I don't see any reason why they couldn't have formed a partnership at Arsenal together. Imagine that, Anelka and Henry up front with Bergkamp in a free role behind them, covered by an industrious - but also talented - midfield trio of Paddy, Manu and the Romford Pele!! 8)
