The fuck they do, if they end up in the channel 5 cup next year then no way do they have bragging rights, especially after all that 'mind the gap' shite. Being a fan is about good days out and winning trophies but the quality of a team is judged by their league standings and spurs have dug a massive hole for themselves with all the "shift in the balance of power" guff they've been peddling for the last few years.

Heck, fucking portsmouth can win tin pots when drawn against nothing but dross until the semis.
Spurs have been embarrassing but for me the fact remains that winning the fa cup is worth more than qualifying for the champions league. You'd still be the better side as proved by league position but they'd have had the better season and deserve the bragging rights. From a neutral perspective I'd take us winning the cup over qualifying for the cl every single time, you dream of seeing your team win a major trophy, not qualify for a tournament.

Anyway, I'm going to be unpopular today as I now want spurs to win the cup, much though I hate their fans they're still "better" fans than Chelsea and I can't be arsed watching "king kenny" and his horrid team of wankers winning anything

A Sunderland fan preferring to win the Cup over finishing third in the PL is favouring the very, very, unlikely over the purely theoretical. If winning a cup is preferable to qualifying for the Champions League Birmingham must have had a better season than us last year.

Given the distasteful dilemma I'd probably have to go for a Chavs win today and in the final, though if today could go to extra time and a few nasty hamstring strains occur I might still be able to eat something today.

Hoping spuds lose but gonna try to ignore the celebrations of the winners and just enjoy the tears of the clowns who lose.

I think it will be quite therapeutic

My tactic will be to pause the Sky+ box the first time one of their tear stained mug faces comes into view. Leave it paused for 10 minutes or so, and then you can keep fast forwarding through the celebratory bits to the next crying footage !

Enjoy :barscarf:

Who out of the classless fans couldn't respect the minutes silence then?

Has there been a more concentrated group of Morons ever assembled in one place?

Rumour doing the rounds before the game was that the chavs were not gonna observe the silence cos they feel that they have been shafted ahead of barca game simply cos victims refused to play today. I am not saying that their response was correct but there can be no denying that they have been shafted cos of the fa's refusal to grow some balls and tell them that from now on they will play when they are told  8)
