I don't give a flying fuck if the fixture schedule has worked against Chelsea because of Hillsborough......how can anyone use that as an excuse to boo and jeer the minute's silence ??

FFS, what is wrong with people these days. I hate fucking Liverpool and I hate the way they have led a blame deflecting witchhunt against the police for 23 years BUT....and its a fucking big BUT......96 people lost their lives that day, none of whom were to blame and whose families were there at Wembley yesterday

If I heard any of our fans booing a minute's silence for an event like Hillsborough, no matter that the fixture schedulers had done, I would be fucking appalled

Given the distasteful dilemma I'd probably have to go for a Chavs win today and in the final, though if today could go to extra time and a few nasty hamstring strains occur I might still be able to eat something today.
I said a major trophy- the league cup isn't a major trophy, most major nations only have one national cup, the league cup should be scrapped. Fa cup over cl qualification every single time. Who you support shouldn't have a bearing on it, only the worst kind of skyboy would think coming 4th is better than coming 5th and winning the fucking fa cup. No wonder wenger's lasted so long with people like you around. Will you be having an open top bus parade for coming 3rd? I sincerely hope not. Qualifying for a competition you won't win better than winning a major trophy, I've heard it all now!

I agree with Joe. Unfortunately, our financial model is too dependent on CL qualification, and thus it has to be first priority every year.

Personally, I'd rather win the FA Cup, but considering the shitfest that is our club's management, we need to finish CL every year in order to keep paying average players massive wages :banghead:

That might be true for the truly big European clubs who win both and who have won things recently but for arsenal and even for Liverpool who have won the cl a few times the fa cup can't be sniffed at.

Happy to quote this verbatim. Just disappointed that it's the minority nowadays.
