What Arshavin is up to...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What Arshavin is up to...

He's still his odd little self:

And he's scoring too:

Zenit are now 14 points ahead with 5 games to go.

Despite providing a few assists, he has been largely ineffectual in this time there to be honest. That was his first goal yesterday & he's come off the bench for most games.

I am actually an Andrey fan but it's very frustrating when someone who is obviously talented doesn't appear to want to put in the work to get the most out of his skill...

Like Dan said, he's not in Zenit's starting XI, it is clear to me that he's not interested in being an athlete, for us or anyone else.

I wish him well. It's a depressing story to see him so electric for a while, and then completely become disinterested and lazy. I do wonder about his mood sometime - I heard he was (clinically) depressed when Russia missed WC10 and maybe he's never really been the same person since.

typical footballer, thinks more about the cash, than playing football

i remember reading once, he was pissed off because he had too pay too much tax, playing in England and wished he had gone to spain

Thought it was a good finish, and coming through the middle as well not cutting in from the left hand side.

Can't argue that he has lost interest but I still think we ruined him by playing him out of position for the best part of three years.
