Keep watching......in a while he'll be making posts in Glory Glory saying, "Stop going on about the 5-1 defeat to Chelsea. Its irrelevant - we've already won our big game this season against Shamrock Rovers"

There is actually a thread over advocating the return of Corluka over Kyle Walker.........if that's not the work of Red then I don't know what is !

Other gems to look out for will be "we should sell Bale now", "poor underpaid Ade", and "we should bring back David Bentley - he's one of my favourite midfielders"

:D :D :D

What also seems to have gone under the radar on the second goal is how Atkinson didn't give a foul against Terry for completely taking out King and Cudicini. Somehow I don't think he would have slept well last night, along with a few hundred thousand Spuds

There is no way the whole of that ball is over the line and more importantly from the angle the ref viewed it from how could he be 100% sure it did?

If there is any doubt they should not give it. The refs seem be going the wrong way with dubious decisions at the moment, the penalty up at l'poo there was no way the ref had a clear view of the challenge but gave it. The pen at Arsenal for Spurs again the ref did not have a clear line of sight of the challenge. The last two pens at old toilet the refs have had clear views of the challenges and have gone for the decision far to quickly.

I do have some sympathy with the officials it is a hard job and mistakes do happen but they and refs association and the FA do not help themselves. If they are not 100% sure don't give it and at the end of the match come out and explane why, don't hide behind FA/FIFA rules. If their sight line was impeded say so you can't blame a ref for not seeing something when there are two players in the way or like Sunday a melly of players on the line. In my view to much guessing is going on from too many refs.

I also wonder if the refs want technology to be introduced to help them. They have seen how there are less controversial decisions in cricket & rugby now and are perhaps encouraging the introduction through some big decisions in matches?

Sp*rs really do suck, wow. Sagna's header was the start of the demise of their season.

I hate to have a small club mentality, and it doesn't mitigate the fact that Arsenal need to improve, but for us to leapfrog them in the Prem and watch them fall apart in every competition since we beat them 5-2, that's a reason to celebrate about this season.
Actually I think thast it was the positive way Arsenal reacted to Bale's dive at the Grove that was the begining of the end for the Spuds....

According to ssn chavski fc are to work with wemberlee officials to identify those who didnt observe the minutes silence.......maybe this is a stupid question but what the f**k can they do even if they do identify them ? Many will believe that the behaviour of the chav fans in question was totally out of order but that is a moral issue so surely they cannot be punished if no offence was committed ? Is there any laws stating that minute's silence must be observed or else banning order's will be handed out ? Really and truly I despair at these type of bullshit pc investigations when everybody knows that the results are irrelevent and if somebody tried to put a banning order on me for that offence I would bring them to every law court in the land and sue them for distress when I win my ticket privelge's back

Brilliant UEFA. Martin Atkinson is one of the extra officials on the goal line for the Bayern v Real match this week :DB
