Ramsey deserves more chances, he was used too much early in the season by December it was clear he had been used to much. Plus it would be interesting to see him with Wilshere and Arteta next season.

Ramsey has potential and skill, but he is not in form, and I don't believe he should be starting right now. I really hope he improves this summer and gets back to form so he is a force next season. But right now, he is not in form and I believe Rosicky/Benny/Ox should all be starting over him at the moment.

That said, if he does start against Wigan and gets another opportunity in front of the goal, I sure hope he takes it and scores. I'd like to see him in form again, but you can't sacrifice a possible 3 points and start him and hope his form improves. Defensively, he's better than Santos, who is my main worry against Wigan (hopefully Gibbs will be back), but he doesn't seem to have that vision. He has left RvP and others calling for the ball too many times recently.

Ramsey, please use the summer to get back into form!

Every single person that defended Ramsey in this thread please step forward. Rewatch the Wigan game and keep your eyes on him. Absolutely the worst CM to put on an Arsenal jersey in a long time. Ramsey couldnt even wear Diaby's shitty boots.

Honestly he makes me miss Denilson :banghead: :banghead:

nah i hate Denilson just as much.

i must admit, i backed Ramsey to the hilt, but the bloke had over 82 mins on the pitch tonight and offered fuck all, he simply can't run - he is slow as hell, I think he has turn't into another Eduardo after he broke his leg.

I hope for Ramsey sake, he comes back better next season, i actually thought Wenger should of taken him off, when he bought on Chamberlain

Ramsey's confidence has just fallen off a cliff, that's all.

Anyway, fans write players off too quickly. I still think he has a bright future at the club.

Time will tell.

i hope he does, because i like the lad - but he is starting to remind me of Eduardo when he came back.. Pace had gone and was scared to tackle or do anything

he just plod around tonight, put a blue top on him and he could easily been mistaken for the ref

Not only is totally lacking in confidence but he seems to be suffering from the kind of brain fart that walcott suffers from...and looked utterly clueless

sad I know as we all saw his potential before that scumbag shawcross broke his leg......I just hope he recovers or else sell him... :(

How long do we hold the fact that he got his leg broken as an excuse for his inability to pass a ball forward over a distance of more than 10 yards? Yes his injury was sickening and a piece of brutal thuggery but in my opinion if a player is selected by 'management' then he is classed as physically fit to play the game!

He was poor tonight. Very poor. But from where I was it seemed more a lack of confidence than lack of ability. The kid looks shot physically and mentally and to be fair most of the team were awful tonight.

One thing I will say is that we won the game 1-0 while he was on the field 8)

Coquelin is injured - hamstring.
He would have been a far more appropriate substitute for Arteta, especially with Song going walkabout.

Ramsey is not a deep lying central midfielder, not in my opinion.
It is a position that does not make the most of his talents.

He does have a decent sprint, and can use it running into the box.
He is good at short and medium passes in fast attacking moves.
But tonight there were very few fast attacking moves.

A friend said tonight Ramsey would be good at the front of midfield if only he could shoot more accurately.
