Profit and value are great but for a fan its only good if its being invested in trying to make the football club competitive, not just the company successful. Currently all I'd take from that is that there will be a lot of dividends getting paid out- good news for the board members I'm sure but it does make you wonder how much they really want to see the club spending millions to try and win the title, top 4 every season and good financial results and they'll probably be happy. Too many clubs are being run as businesses and too many fans (no one on here like, but there are some who will count this as great news) are like amateur accountants nowadays.

Aye, its like when we're linked with a good player and people start on about "oh £13m plus 50k a week wages, that's a bit above our budget, don't want to see us spend that much on him" etc- its not my money so I couldnt give a fuck tbh. Obviously I dont want to see me club go bankrupt but we employ people to make sure that doesnt happen, I just want to see us improve on the pitch. I spend all week worrying about a company's finances at work, fuck caring how much money we're spending to keep Sessegnon at Sunderland or how much we're using to pay Bruce off, I couldnt give a fuck just get it paid, there's nowt we, as fans, can do about it
