Chav$ki thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsene wanted Mata but Gazidis fucked it up so we moved for Slap-Head !
Yes, yes, yes, we know this herd but I was trying to make the point that 'collectively' the transfer was as you so succinctly put it "fucked up", having seen how excellent Mata is it just angers me even more...what a difference he could have made to the team/season/my state of mind.

He played one half on Wednesday and he will be alright now I think. We still have to be a bit cautious with him because we had so many setbacks. If all goes well he will be in the squad.
Just read the great news on the website mate, thanks for that. At last something to cheer. Just to have the imperious Abou on the bench will be a massive bonus. Seventy minutes of tedious, sideways, mechanical passing could all be changed in the blink of an eye if the great man comes on for the last 20 and provides the usual slide rule pass for RvP.

I notice he completed 45 minutes against Oman in the week, so fingers crossed he'll be getting us off our seats again soon :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Unless we are well and truly out of the game, you would be foolish to leave early anyway, but with Abou on the field you must never even consider it. I am getting a strong feeling that the great man is ready to provide the spark !

not true - once Mata found he could make big Chelski style wages we weren't in the race

Chels had 20% possession v Barca, I'd take that instantly. We would destroy them with those numbers.
That result was an aberration.
Surely no Djourou, Kos and Verm will start in defence.

we're around 2s, Chelski 4s on betfair. We're clear favourites.

Cisse's back he'll score or get sent off, Kaboul's out. Sperz on poor form, Modders and the Monkey already thinking about their summer moves. Nothing definite about that game...

Before this quote I was dreading the worst......if I put 20 quid on with betfair will you reimburse me if we lose?

They can have Drogba out but without Arteta I have no confidence in our midfield. If I could bring myself to bet against Arsenal I would be putting big money on Chelsea or a draw.
