Why Can't They Do Their Talking On The Pitch??

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The stuff I can't stand reading is the shite that gets tripped out after every feeble defeat against a supposed 'lesser' team. I don't know why they just don't have a permanent article on the website where they just edit the name of the team that have just rolled us over

"We must stay focused after Hull/QPR/Blackburn/Bolton/West Brom/Wigan/Swansea/Fulham/Stoke defeat"

Stop fucking tell me how we need to learn our lessons from those defeats and go and sodding learn them. Just the most boring, tedious fucking read imaginable and I swear if I hear another halfwit like Djourou who has been at the club for seven years sprout any of this old bollocks again when we've rolled over against a team like that, I will be contacting professional hackers to bring down the whole fucking Arsenal.com website.

"There are no easy games in this division and we must remain committed for 90 minutes.........."

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH......................... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Flappy is most definitely a number 2. He's actually the worst type of number 2 known to mankind, worse even than the doggy number 2 you chop up with your lawnmower that make you want to wretch.

Flappy makes me want to wretch. :(

Outspoken and opinionated players - like Shez, Barton, those types - are always going to be willing to supply those sources.
more like opinionated people are taking advantage of more outlets for their views.
I'm reminded of the adage 'An empty vessel makes most noise'

Thing is it's (more or less) accepted that the majority of Professional Footballer's are not (intellectually speaking) the brightest bulbs on the ole crimbo tree, brilliant they may be with a ball at their feet - Rooney for example - and so when they attempt to voice their opinions it is often mis-placed, ill-informed and embarrassing....of course there are exceptions , but with the dumbing down(sic) of the collective intelligence and the decline in educational standards this is just another aspect of the outcome from that, along with the way the media have manipulated the collective's need to know every detail of a famous person's life...Hence Andy Warhol's 15 minutes of fame prophecy has come true - which is all part of the same profit orientated media machine that now rules so many lives. Sadly (IMO) the majority of the public don't even know they are now part of a trend designed to keep the frenzied media machine in place - people telephoning radio stations etc - and so ensure continued profit/success - Headlines no matter how ridiculous seem to just be accepted and believed by so many people who don't even question what is being said and just take what the media says (and the government) as inviolable, the reason I say this is because I sometimes feel that Arsenal (The Club) are manipulating the fans in a similar fashion....which is why I totally get it when people get so angry and start slagging off AW & the Board etc

Sorry peeps went off on one there!

Boruc (former celtic keeper now at fiorentina) is 3rd choice I believe ....
How does he fit in the time for football, what with making documentaries and his duties as a Cultural Ambassador? :rubchin: :rubchin: And do you think the fact he wears a man-kini had a part in his demotion from being the Polish number 1?

I think Man Utd probably have the best No 2 whether it's De Gea or Lindergaard

To be honest, I think Liverpool would gladly take Flappyhandski over Doni or that other guy...
