I am starting to wonder when Jack will be fit enough to play again, I really hope he is back for the start of next season but it seems he is unable to get fit again and his return date keeps going back.

not the first time that questions need to be raised about the medical staff. how can a stress fracture on a 20 year old young man keep him out for over a year? its absolutely ridiculous. fire the entire staff seriously.

Injured Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has been ruled out for the remainder of the season and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger says he will not be fit for Euro 2012.

The 20-year-old suffered a stress fracture to his ankle in pre-season but hoped to be fit to go to Poland and Ukraine this summer.

Due to our medical team and their inadequacies, or something else?

Absolutely NO way he should be allowed to play in Euro. Arsenal pay his wages, pay his medical bills, haven't got any competitive games out of him all season. Then we send him to play for England? That's ludicrous. The right decision has been made here. I'm not one for "clubs owning players" but he's JUST getting back to fitness and playing in Euro is far too significant of a risk for 1. Arsenal and 2. a very young, promising talent who might not fully appreciate the need for rest and care with injury recovery.

I suspect Arsenal is VERY confidential with the details (and extents) of players' injuries. They are quite tight-lipped about most things, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was revealed that the medical staff follow the same code of (near) silence.

Here's an opinion that makes sense.

George Graham has questioned the medical treatment given to Arsenal players after Jack Wilshere was ruled out until next season.

The young midfielder has not played for Arsenal since suffering a recurrence of an ankle injury in a friendly against New York Red Bulls on July 31.

Wilshere was initially expected to be out for around three months but has since suffered a number of setbacks and will now miss the remainder of the season, as well England’s European Championship campaign.

With Arsene Wenger also having had to deal with a number of other long-term injuries to his squad in recent seasons, Graham claims the club may be contributing to their own problems.

“You look back the last few years and look at the injuries and it is not a couple of weeks or even a month injuries that Arsenal have racked up,” said the former Gunners boss.

“You look at Robin Van Persie, this is probably the first season he is injury free. And [Tomas] Rosicky. Key players have been out for long, long periods. It is something I would have a look at, the medical side of the club.

“What sort of injuries are they? If they are contact injuries, there is not a lot you can do about it but if they are having strains and pulls they have got to have a look at that aspect of the club.”

He needed an operation prior to the beginning of last season but for reasons best known only to the medical staff they let him play on ,the stress fracture got worse and then the botched the 1st op leading to a 2nd and a third one.
According to my sources he has a chip on the ankle which keeps flaking.

Im no doctor but a stress fracture shouldn't knock u out for 1 season .
