Chav$ki thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Great tackle Kos. That could have gone horribly wrong.

Welcome back Diaby.
Now go and get fit, and oh, practice your passing too.

Poor game but lucky to get a point with that abject performance.

Wait for the handbrake or Chavs negative excuses to be wheeled out

Well now we have a video that proves a midfield of Santos, Diaby, Ramsey, Song and Gervinho isn't good enough.

A frustrating game really with Chelsea happy to soak up the pressure and attempt to take chances on the break a bit like a poor Sunderland side of about 4/5 years ago. We weren't good enough to break them down then and we still aren't able to break teams like them down now.

A word for our defence though today who I thought were superb. Koscielny and Vermaelen especially at the back made numerous great tackles and often even had to provide a bit of creative influence when Diaby and Ramsey came up short

Well that has to be the most passionless Arsenal v Chelsea game for years.

It looked more like an Emirates Cup match than a "must win" game.

Our midfield apart from Rosicky looked brain dead.

Kos and TV 5 got us out of trouble once or twice.

RVP appeared to be intent on laying off balls back to midfield when he could have took a touch and turned at least 3 times.

We had the clearer chances, which we didn't take but Chelsea looked more likely to scoreon the break in my opinion.

Oh and isn't kicking out at an opponent a sending off offence ?? Cole you scumbag.

Forgetting about the manager for a minute, it has to be said that the performances and attitude of these players in the two games this week is not deserving of champs league football. It has to be said that the performances this week are more indicitive of our season than the games where we beat the scum, milan or whoever. There is no getting away from the fact that this team lacks bottle and heart for the business end of the season - when we looked out of race for top 4 and the pressure of challenging for trophies was off, we started to play but as soon as we climb back to 3rd and put ourselves in a great position to finish there then we shit ourselves and drop stupid points

I agree. It was the 150th League meeting between the two clubs too.
