Every club in the PL has a better 2nd choice striker

I remember the days when people were pissed off with £13m Wiltord as a 4th choice striker too !!

Next season's first choice four forwards will be - Podolski, Walcott (Wenger will declare his masterplan of him always being a striker and being more mature), Chamakh and Park.

RvP gone, Podolski and nobody else in. Of course Aneke might well be the 'super quality' we have coming through to match the likes of Quincy, Lupoli and Aliadiere (perhaps we might re-sign him again)

I don't see it panning out that way to be honest, even if Van Persie does leave, he will have commanded a large transfer fee and even though Wenger won't spend it on quality by our definitions, he would buy someone else and as I've said Chamakh is most likely off I think our striking options next season will either be: Van Persie, Podolski, Walcott and Park or Podolski, Walcott, Park and someone else. Neither option is sufficient in my opinion but it's still better than Walcott, Chamakh, Park and Podolski. :D

Err..Fraizer Campbell is leagues above our back-up jokers, and even if he isn't a recognised out and out striker I would take Sessegnon any day of the week over the Camel or SQ.

I used to mock Franco di Santo but he's more capable than our two idiots

Honestly, we are supposedly one of Europe's big clubs and we have guys that were ordinary players for Bordeaux and Monaco

cheers Rosicky's Right Boot mate- thankfully the match mattered little since we're safe and cant get europe, but i would have loved Bent to have watched a real footballer show him how its done. Still, we should finish ahead of him and he went there for europe and the great supply from young and downing, oh and to get in the england side for the euros of course- unlucky you *word censored*. Bendtner wasnt great today, missed a good chance, and some dont like him for being "cocky", fuck that, at least the boy is what he is- he's a great footballer, hes confident as you would be with everything hes been handed, he doesnt spout shit about loving the club in the media before fucking off- i'd rather him than a two faced badge kissing pretend to be a normal fan *word censored* like bent- bendtner will finish higher than him this year, he has every year previously, he's played at a club bigger than Bent could dream of, game over. Darren Bent < Nicklas Bendtner, proven fact

Sess is class, and he pisses on Chamakh and Park, he's the best footballer I've ever seen at Sunderland and if he goes to a big club it'll be with my blessing, just so pleased to have had him here tbh, but he isnt a striker and shouldnt be seen as such. Campbell v Chamakh is close, Campbell is poor, very poor tbh. Hes a great lad, he loves the fans, but hes not much of a player

Actually when I look in the Championship, many of the top half teams have better strikers on the bench than our modern day Laurel and Hardy pairing.

Adam le Fondre on the bench for Reading
Kevin Phillips a regular benchwarmer for Blackpool - still notched nearly 20 goals this season
Ogbeche on Middlesborough's bench produced the sort of quality at West Ham that our two halfwits could only dream about
FFS, even Nicola Zigic is a better big lump type than Maryanne

I haven't seen worse Arsenal forwards since the days of Hawley, Hankin and Chapman

Still, at least we've got a great track record of producing our own top quality youth strikers..........let me think of the last one........errrrrrmmmmm..........I'll be back to you in a year or so

Good post mate, there's nothing wrong with admitting you have no affection or support for a team prior to playing for them, in fact I would think most fans would appreciate the honesty, but to come out and tell blatant lies regarding loyalties to the club is plain wrong, especially knowing how much football means to people. At the end of the day though the likes of Bent are being paid obscene amounts of money and so when he goes home to his expensive house I doubt it'll trouble him too much, so I hope you lot made that 90 minutes hell for him.

Where the actual fuck is Park? Was he even on the bench yesterday?

Feel a bit sorry for the guy to be honest. Snatched from under the noses of the French & promised the world at Arsenal. You've gotta think he'd be getting a hell of a lot more game time at Lille...
