Look at their fixture list
They have no hope of getting anywhere near us
Err.....Wigan is their next game. As Fulham proved today, not all teams have to go out of their way to make them look like Brazil. 3 points for the Toon in that one
Then Chelsea, 3 days before the FA Cup Final and already qualified for the CL final - Barca are out
Then home to Man City who if they haven't beaten United are fucked
Last of all an Everton team on their holidays
Yes, what a really hard run in. 9 points minimum, and we'll get 1......so of course they'll get nowhere near us (true because they will be out of reach on the other side)
I am going to have to compile a list of quotes soon
as if Chelsea are going to beat Barcelona
I think you'll find that it works like this:
a) They already have beaten them, so
b) a draw, or a goalscoring one goal defeat and they are through
Its on page 1 of the Roger Red Hat guide to the Champions League
Song and Ramsey were dreadful for the first 20 mins (between them were caught in possesion four times in the first 8 minutes). However, having been a harsh critic of Song forever and of Ramsey recently, I thought they both worked hard after that. Song will never be good enough and Ramsey is poor at the moment, buy AW had no choice but to play them and at least they made an effort. I actually thought Diaby was OK when he came on (considering his lack of playing time) and, given our injury problems at the moment, I really hope he can develop some confidence and form.
There have been too many 'Ox is the answer' posts and while he's a great prospect his performance today showed where he's at.
Gervinho was dreadful, but when he's in the box his 'daft as a brush' style does create a bit of mayhem, However. I wouldn't trust him to find his arse in the dark.
Gibbs, whose had plenty of crap slung his way on this forum had another good game.
We looked liked we were desperate not to lose and given other results, I'll take a draw.

Agreed. There were moments of class in that little cameo that nobody else on the field produced in 90 minutes. Has to start at the Britannia
Gotta say atmosphere was good today before kick-off until the pretenders that is Arsenal took to the field. So lets not blame "the soulless bowl". The teams performance stifled the crowd this time. Too slow, no movement, no ideas, nothing going forward.
Especially the first half. The crowd was there but I'm afraid the team didn't give us anything to cheer. Atmosphere was shit except for first ten and last fifteen cause the fuckiin team couldn't manage to get motivated. What a complete load of absolute bollox.
Lets not make excuses. This Chav team were there for the taking.
I'm firmly in the Wenger Out Now camp but his subs today were surprisingly spot-on.
Someone said earlier that Rosicky was our best player! well he was fuckin invisible today, did diddly squat and seemed to have reverted to his old shit self after a few very good performances.
The OX was also quite poor which leads me to wonder if Wenger was right after all by not listening to us all clamouring for his inclusion.
This leaves Theo who was also poor. But he always had two defenders on him and when in times gone by there would have been three maybe four players coming to him to give him an outlet, today there was no-one. He was very much on his own. But having said this....... Theo was also shite today and seemed to be hiding again. Think Ox was gonna be subbed but when Theo went down Theos number went up instead.
Gerv looked busy when he came on at first but his total shiteness soon shone through.
Get possession, dont take on the defender, cut inside, go back, lose possession or fall over. Meh.
Needs another season? Why I wonder?
Ramsey has had a very hard time on here of late......
Well he was complete and utter shit today. Gotta say I havent seen a more inept performance from an Arsenall player since Arseshavin . He gave the ball away in dangerous positions more times than Song, and thats quite an achievement!
Best player today for me yet again - Kos. Pulled TV out of a hole again tgoday and was solid and positionally superb. Won everyuthing in the air and hit the fcukin bar!
RVP - busted his balls up front on his own again and could of had a couple. Got zero service from Theo, Rosicky and OX, Not gonna criticize the main main man.
We were so lackibg a spark in midfield it was unreal. Rosicky and Raamsey didn't provide it so we didn't have anyone to turn to.
I'm so fcukin bored now. Pissed off.
At least the spuds lost but the barcodes are coming strong.
I absolutely agree that ox was poor today and I said that during the game but please dont use that as a reason to think wenger was right not to play him before now. If you look back at the match again you will see that at least 75% of our attacks in the first half went down our right side so the ox seen fcuk all ball and never got into the game as a result. I also cannot for the life of me understand why at no stage did wenger switch the 2 wingers given that both were really poor where they were Add to that, why didnt he switch the ox to the right wing when the 100k per week superstar went off ? When the forehead came into the club first wenger always played him on the left so why not put him there today when he was brought on and allow the ox (a right footed player) to play in a position more suitable to him ? Will still argue that the clown in charge hasnt a scooby doo
PS Mc are you really saying that you would play diaby ahead of ramsey ? This is the same diaby that has been at the club for six fcuking years and has shown fcuk all to suggest that he is good enough for our club If ramsey is as shit as diaby is after a similar amount of time at the club then I will write him off but there is no way in the world that he deserves to be written off at this stage

Yes was wondering this very same thing at the time....? Dunno?
Ramsey worked hard but was ineffective, he dwells on the ball and gets caught in possession, possibly a sign of low confidence?
The Ox was poor. Does he look overweight or is he stocky?
Santos a better option in left midfield contributing a bit of running, than at left back where he goes walkies.
RvP isolated.
Koscielny and Vermaelen a decent centre back partnership, though we have seen better at the club under Wenger.
I think we genuinely looked tired.
People can argue all they want about how players on high salaries should not be tired; but I really think we lacked a physical spark that would have given us an edge.

Abou showed in those last 20 minutes that he can do things Ramsey can only dream of.
Get Song an Ramsey out for the Stoke game......Abou and Coquelin in
