Something to cheer us up

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Something to cheer us up

Post by Rosicky's Right Boot »

Found this little gem over at Scum central...
Did anyone else notice the hoardings at today's game? Absolutely disgraceful! Several times throughout the match there was an advert for tomorrow's Sun with a Muamba interview in it and the name 'Fabrice Muamba' kept flashing up on the hoardings in full view of our players. This has to be a blatant attempt at gaining an upper hand by QPR by trying to stir the bad memories of what happened to Muamba at the Lane. They know our players were there and were badly affected by it whereas the QPR players have had no such bad experiences. By bringing such a distressing event up again helped contribute to our performance. Outrageous and unfair, we should complain to the league.

why does everyone on here think newcastle are suddenly world beaters?

they have to play wigan away next who as we know are fighting for their lives
then they go to chelsea who will be fighting for the top 4 after being knocked out of the CL
then at home to Man City who are fighting for the title and then away to Everton which really isnt the easiest place to go and get a result

if they win all those 4 then they deserve to be in the CL but they will be lucky to win 2 of them

Sounds like one of the manager games where you picked the adverts and I often picked food in the hope it would make the opposition hungry.
