Manc games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Much as it will pain me to see City win the league it will be quite amusing listening to the radio phone-ins. The Salford plastics will be wanting Fergie out if they don't win a trophy this season. I remember in 2002 when they were suggesting he'd lost the plot......bet they'd have preferred to have had Wenger this past decade

He wouldn't get in our side now mate, what with all the super quality we've added like Gervinho. We're a much better side now. We just need Moussa Sow in there for RvP and we'll be back amongst Europe's Elite
True true, he wouldn't get in our team. I mean after all, we are reading here that apparently players like Fellaini, Dempsey and Pienaar wouldn't be able to get a game ahead of the likes of Rosicky (3 league goals in 2 years and 3 assists!); Alex Song (LOL) and Gervinho (sumptuous waste of £11 million. Don't forget to renew those tickets!)

Never mind though, Diaby is like a new signing, I can see him propelling us to more glory next season too.

RVP must be itching to stay on at Arsenal having seen how Nasri and Cesc have got on this season so far....

Am afraid of that too - the geordies are flying it at the mo and everybody in the media is talking about what a great chance they have of getting 4th which is kinda funny cos if they win their game in hand they are level with us plus we will not win at stoke

Another great day in what has been a good weekend
Man city will now provide Newcastle with a tough test and everton have shown they won't roll over for anyone
In fact will Newcastle win another game this season?

I reckon we need another win and a draw to make the top 4, probably the top 3

Think United will win it by virtue of drawing at City . City looked very nervous today, but I'm glad there is still something to play for next Monday. In today's other game the good guy came out on top.Happy for Woy.

People need to get off the Newcastle bandwagon. They're a decent side on a good run nothing more. I fully expect that run to end soon.

around january i agreed with you, but 34 games isn't a "good run", it's 4 games off a "good season"!

As we are above Newcastle and they have had a good season then does that mean we can say that Arsenal have had a very good season?

In the same way that a five year old would say that if Norwich and Swansea have had good seasons, then Arsenal have had an outstanding one.......then yes
