Deni is back

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Deni is back

Post by RioGooner »

São Paulo and Arsenal failed to agree on a fee or an extension for sideways and he'll be back for the summer. We don't need a new midfielder now ! :barscarf:

Beat me to it ! One of his "favourite midfielders" who should be "first choice in midfield" when he returns !

He's toned the comments down because it was the Denilson comments that earned him his latest ban, but they were there for all to see :D

Red will be positively orgasmic if we get Arshavin back too who he thought "deserved to play more regularly". All we need is Walcott's £100k per week contract, one of his 'big 3 players' Alex Song to be named captain when RvP leaves, and Almunia to replace Chesney, and he'll be breaking his promise and buying a season ticket :D

The Press Release is actually quite funny, as they say that a deal wasn't possible because they wouldn't buy Deni, but at the same time think we made very good business in getting him back as he's now "fixed". Don't really know what they meant about the fixed part, though

If he plays for Arsenal, next season and is likened to "a new signing", I'm going to be sick.

No room for the sideways passing jogger here anyway. Jack, Arteta, Song, Ramsey, Coquelin and even Diaby and Frimpong all ahead of him.
